Ukraine’s Avengers Moment

“Will there be an Avengers moment for a battered, exhausted and broken Ukraine?”

“Avengers, assemble!” yells Chris Evans’ Captain America right before the final battle sequence at the end of the movie Avengers: Endgame.

We all know that scene. Captain America is alone in a decimated landscape, battered and exhausted, but still holding on to whatever remains of his broken shield. He has seemingly reached the end of the road pitted against the mighty Thanos.
Taking on this evil force and his brutal army seems an impossible task, even for a superhero. But, when all hope seems lost, Wakandans appear and The Falcon descends.

One by one we see the spectacular gathering of all the allied forces including the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Asgardians, the Masters of the Mystic Arts, the Ravagers, and more. Together, these nations defeat Thanos and his army because they know that an attack on one is an attack on all.

As we approach the four-month mark of Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine, I’m left wondering – does the world truly understand that the war on sovereign Ukraine is a war on all sovereign countries around the globe?

Will there be an Avengers moment for a battered, exhausted and broken Ukraine?

Preserving Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity is imperative to maintaining our world order, Europe’s security order, the integrity of conduct between nations and the global rule of law.

The fact is that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is merely a gateway for Putin. If Medusa’s head is not cut off now, the rest of Europe will become a target, and the West will have an even more significant, more powerful and brutal monster to deal with. And that monster’s allied countries may be inspired to do the same with their bordering neighbors.

As this war drags on, Putin is counting on the world’s indifference. This is not the time for war fatigue. Western nations have given Ukraine billions of dollars in weaponry, taken in millions of refugees, and imposed collective sanctions on Putin and Russia.

Ukrainians are fighting heroically, but they are not superheroes. Ukraine is still in dire need of more advanced weaponry and more restrictive measures imposed on its attackers. This is not just a fight for a sovereign Ukraine, but a fight for a sovereign world. AVENGERS, ASSEMBLE!

How many obnoxious articles themed around the Russo-Ukrainian War and pop culture are there? I'd rather listen to Ukrainian supremacist propaganda for an hour then read this for a minute.

I genuinely believe we live in hell, and Journalists, Politicians, and Glowies are our captors.

Oh wow! This real-life war that has killed thousands of real people is just like my epic Disney® Marvel Thanos℠ movies! I'm soying out, WOOOOOAAAAAAHHHH!

Comparison of any real world conflict with real casualties to shitty fictional conflicts that exist only in some idealized movie made by Hollywood execs should be penalized by getting sent to the said conflict zone to get blown up and bleed out.

The guy in the top middle fills me with some kind of primal autistic ape rage, I had to clench my teeth until my gums bled to keep myself from jumping out of a window and going on a killing spree.

If this is the "ideal" male of the 2020s then I seriously do not want to live on this planet anymore.

I wonder why that happens, but I feel you.

Like, look at this little worm:

Why does this picture make me so damn angry? Is it some instinct to cull the useless eaters from the herd? I'm not one of those Dunning-Kruger "might makes right" retards, but the modern bugman sickens me by how willfully pathetic he is.

Kinda feels like the Zelinskky’s family should be forced to wander the Earth where no nation shall give them refuge, reason abandons them, and their bones will be scattered on the winds for all this BS.

I wonder why that happens, but I feel you.

Nietzsche had a point when he said “how can you be good when you are toothless?” I’ll make fun of him for being a nigger (daddy issues, presents his idea of manhood as the embodiment of it).
The idea boils down to having the inability to act on things alone doesn’t make you good.

Even if Jordan Peterson is a lolcow, he said something similar that I really like: “A harmless man is not a good man. A good man is a very dangerous man who has that under voluntary control.”
