Charlotte Church (Welsh child star turned non entity)
Daniel Radcliffe (YOU'RE A WIZARD HARRY)
Benedict Cumberbatch (crap actor known for haranguing audiences about politics after performances)

Isn't this what Hillary Clinton did, preferring to hang around in liberal hugboxes and safe spaces and completely out of touch with reality?

Pretty much, the only time he came up against a "real" voter he turned his head away in disgust because the man prefered to have nukes and never use them, then not and need them. Most clips of this are locked down behind the BBC or otherwise buried in the near 8 minutes of twaddle around it, sorry you can't see it specifically.

The other time was when a veteran tried to talk to him about the prosecution of veterans who served during the Troubles and he was man handled away and shouted at by Momentum retainers.

I mean there's a fair few pictures of him out there holding pretty big (for the UK, each constituency is around 70,000 people) rallies. Here's a picture of one and here is another in fact have a third one too

The problem of course is that picture one is from Gateshead a relatively "new" constituency which boasts a Labour majority of some 14,000. The Second is from York Central, where Labour enjoys a 7,000+ majority and is its lone outpost in otherwise true Tory North Yorkshire, putting it pretty low down on the target list (there's about 40-50 ahead of this with smaller majorities the Tories are looking to snap up) and the third one? Leeds, where in its central seat Labour boasts another stonking majority of 17,000.

On top of all of that, larger crowds usually mean people have been bussed in or travelled in from other seats as its the closest their leader will probably get, we had a couple of busses trundle off last election when bigwigs came in close by seats to pad the numbers, and this was reciprocated last time too.

So there's no telling how many of those folks are from seats which matter and from others where they will simply stack up more votes in places they've already locked down.

It smells more like a campaign to keep his job after the election (as his public appeal is clearly large and he has the pictures to prove it) rather than trying to win those key swing marginals which are very slowly turning into safe conservative seats again. Nuneaton is now considered only "semi marginal" due to how hard the local MPs then work and fight for their constituencies when they come in and is seen as one of a handful typically considered the Bell weather's like Ohio is for the President.

Basically the Labour Party has tried to run hard on an Election campaign mimicking the Trump one. Call everyone in the media (even their BBC allies) fake news and then pretend everything is hunky dory elsewhere and that Corbyn is just.... such a great guy.

Which is great as it's meant we've had Barry Gardiner shrieking and shit flinging in nearly every single TV and Radio performance he gives.

Bob Geldof (Wrote one good song, keeps using Africa as a piggy bank at Christmas, comments on UK policies despite being Irish)
Ah yes, Bob Geldof. The man who the press laid into after he shamed Adele for not wanting to participate in his latest vanity project charity single, but who suddenly became their darling during Brexit when he demonstrated that his way of dealing with people he disagrees with politically is to ram a boat into them.

The fucker doesn't even pay full taxes yet still has the nerve to advocate a Labour government.

Oh yeah, Stephen Hawking supports Labour and apparently because he's the "smartest man in the world" that means we should too. I guess people forget that he's a scientist, not a political analyst and that you can be the smartest man in the world yet still be ignorant on certain subjects.

Has the Hawk been actively pulling for Labour? I don't particularly see him having a chimp out, or even a slight moan about Labour losing to be honest. But I'll add him anyway (along with Brian Cox, who'll at least moan)

That fucking boat stunts was great and probably stacked a shitload of votes for Leave as a result.

Because nothing says "Vote Remain" then you and your millionaire mates on a german made river boat hurling abuse and quaffing champagne at tiny working class people's rusty hulks as they chug defiantly up the Thames who's livelyhood has been utterly devastated by the stupidity of the EU's fisheries policy.

Has the Hawk been actively pulling for Labour?
He's voted Labour pretty much his whole life and would regard a Tory victory as a "disaster", but he also doesn't like Jeremy Corbyn and actually referred to him as a "disaster".

Says it all really.

My favourite is the Asian woman at the bottom (and I guess some form of politician judging by the rosette) sticking her tongue out.

Well there is validity to the claims he's the smartest man in the world right there.

He'll probably abstain or vote Green this year then.

Now, I personally love Bansky's work and I enjoy his cutting commentry on many things regardless of his leanings, but his latest "stunt" took the fucking biscuit and I hope he gets the book thrown at him.

Unsurprisingly under threat of being arrested and prosecuted for offering a free print to anyone voting against the Tories (by taking pictures of your ballot paper and sending them to him as proof) in the Bristol area, he's suddenly pulled out of this offer.

Seeing as it's straight up fucking bribery.

Talking of people hastily pulling out. Dianne Abbot was due to speak for twelfty ninty minutes on Radio 4's Woman's Hour this morning.

She's been replaced with Colonel Lady Nugee instead. @Ginger Piglet now owes me £5.

No, he's definitely voting Labour, mostly thanks to a good relationship with his local MP.

I guess I can dig that. Parliamentary Labour aren't big fans of Corbyn after all.

Hawking's Local MP/candidate is Daniel Zeichner, one of the steady modernizers in the party who backed Yvette Cooper and Owen Thingy Smith. While he opposes Trident Renewel he does seem to be one of the saner sorts and has been pretty deep as a cog in the wider labour party machine for a while.

Owen Thingy Smith

Heh heh, nice Newzoids reference!

Good to see that Banksy stunt getting pulled down, only thing better would have been if someone claimed they voted against the Tories, rubbed out their pencil marking on the paper and actually voted Tory and won!

As for Diane Abbot pulling out of Women's Hour, Labour are learning, and for tagging in Emily Thornberry, they're not learning fast enough! It's brill!

"We can't keep letting Dianne in to do these car crash interviews this close to an election! I know, we'll send in Emily. She has the People's touch!"

For our American Friends, this picture was sent out very sneeringly and implied that the voters of this house were racists. She was sacked from the shadow front bench as a result.

If I remember right as well, the bloke was a Labour Voter and wound up swapping to UKIP.

EDIT: News and fun is coming thick and fast today in the last sprint, as Sarah Olney has been reported to the Electoral Commission

She's the thicko from up a few pages back flummoxed by her interview.

The hilarity of a third election in Richmond Park in under 12 months will be quite something.

:story:

I love how Labour keep shooting themselves in the foot with atomic fucking artillery!

As for Olney? Man that picture is really unflattering!

I didn't know it was racist sexist abuse to sneer at her mathematical ineptitude and general lack of touch with reality.

Anyhow, remind me when Lily Allen was last relevant? I'd say about 2009 with "Not Fair."

Apparently she's suffered it all her life... mostly after she herself slings out some vle racist statement herself.

I wonder how much it chaps her ass that her kid brother is has a bigger profile than her these days.
