Hot damn this debate is a shitshow.
No, that would be amazing if it did though!

I've had about 5 so far. 3 impersonal and these two today. I guess my constituency is a swing seat.
I've had a flood of leaflets, though that might be because I live in Richmond and it's probably going to come down to the wire here.

I personally think they're trying to appeal to the Jewish vote here. Lot of yids concentrated in one area in my constituency.

Decided not to watch it, but keeping an eye on comments in a few places. Lefties are having a right wank fest and applauding stuff the wider country doesn't really like, like open borders and such. Basically a seal clap and a load of luvvies and lefties snuck in under the "undecided" banner as usual.

Peston's noted the "balanced" BBC audience seems to be anything but on his twitter feed as well.

TNS has published another poll. 25th-30th of May.

CON: 43% (+1)
LAB: 33% (-1)
LDEM: 11% (+2)
UKIP: 4% (-)
GRN: 3% (-1)

Lead of 10%.

Eh, best of Twitter during the debate is Adrian Edmondson mocking the shit out of Paul Nuttall.

Amber Rudd, Paul Nuttal and Corbyn in the same room and not a hint of charisma.

What a sorry state of affairs.

Rudd and Nuttal were the best out of it as well. Seems more like the rest were a screaming shower.

If there were more time for things for Corb to be in before the election I'd wonder if they were saving Bojo for a last minute flattening.

...hey, if/when the Convervatives win, can we have a big .gif of that weird laugh May did?

For reference.

That debate was the most biased audience I've seen in a televised political debate, Nuttall got booed for suggesting the Manchester attack was related to Radical Islam and Corybn at one point IIRC got cheers for merely stating he got the most votes in the Labour leadership contest, May was right not to attend.

Also here's some weird pamplets from this campaign:

And one where they might as well have replaced Tim with a picture of a crying Wojak:

Another day, another poll, this time from PanelbaseMD and includes last night's shit show as data stopped being taken this morning:

CON 44 (-4)
LAB 36 (+3)
LD 7 (NC)
UKIP 5 (+1)
GRN 3 (+1)

Result would give a Tory Majority of 38, below my own predictions.

God it looks similar to the pic the Tories are fond of using of Tim! Guess he looks just like a sucked jelly baby anyway!

Two leaflets finally arrived in the post today from the two parties which matter. Local current conservative is actually doing what the Tories should have done nationally. Promising a steady hand on the tiller and to keep pushing the local area however they can for investment (something which has seen East Pillockshire grow above the national growth rate every year for 7 years now). There is a big T May splash, suggesting local polling is far more confident than the national ones are showing.

Labour meanwhile, have finally learnt from the last two elections and actually stopped importing candidates from the next door county and is standing a local councillor who I do not actually know. Still, makes a change.

I still haven't got anything other than the labour one.

I got yet another Tory one and a mail merged Labour today.

Tory one played up the 'hardworking, self made local boy' angle, saying how the incumbent Labour MP has neglected one of the towns (probably a mail-merge there to be honest) as well as adding about how his grandad helped build the first synagogue ages ago (They know their swings!)

Didn't even look at Labour's, fuck that shit. Although I have walked by their election HQ, and some enterprising individual has gained access to the abandoned building next door and stuck a 'Vote UKIP' poster in the top window.

Someone in Bootle defaced the UKIP one saying, "Not Nutty for Nuttall"

No more leaflets today. Local Tory candidate has a huge majority so it's like they're not even trying. Especially considering the constituency includes several patches of second home places so they're probably relying on the influx of Sloaneys down here. With them and the large farmer contingent (who usually vote Tory), I'm betting Tories first, Labour second, Greens third (large crunchy granola contingent round here), Lib Dems fourth, UKIP fifth (not enough immigrants and they've served their purpose).
