Why are we arguing about the historically accurate plumpness of whores when Ubisoft have made it clear they'll happily retcon history when it suits them to make a slave the best samurai in all of Nippon.

Let's not forget the gigabrains at Ubisoft made Marx an Assassin sympathizer, despite the fact his own manifesto clearly states that one of the steps towards achieving True Communism is the establishment of a dictatorship to steal everyone's stuff away, while Washington is portrayed as a tyrant in a DLC.

I know there are some Div 2 players ITT. I'm curious after the escalation/prototype stuff, and then the BS with the Cherry Blossom event, if any of you quit or are you still playing? I basically noped out earlier this season, but today's patch got me to try it again, only to realise they've fucked it up again, and now I think I'm basically done for at least the rest of this season if not entirely (since I don't see them changing course at this point)

I think it was AC4, but slavery is one of the entries in the codex. Within the entry the two characters that operate the animus argue about Washington owning slaves.

The combination of the lefty purity test (you are never good enough) and completely skipping over the political complexity the founding fathers had to navigate regarding slavery is infuriating. Even back then, when I was younger and more idealistic, I thought it was extremely cheap soapboxing.

While the Cherry Blossom event allowed me to get a ton of materials, the RNG was so fucking awful. I only got one prototype item: the sleigher... (they didn't remove that Christmas meme weapon from the loot pool).
As for the new prototype gimmick, I have no idea. I played 2 missions of Escalation and got nothing. The UI is awful, I never found the option to cancel an Escalation.

Finished replaying the Ezio trilogy after deciding to finish where I left off. What the fuck happened to ubisoft, man?

They weren't perfect games, but they had heart and soul. Most of all, they were fucking fun with a unique atmosphere and above average writing that would be called masterful in today's absolute trash standards.

They deliberately put the shitty meme weapons in to dilute the loot pool. They do the same thing with the Stretch Goals pool at the end of every season. I'm curious though how many keys you managed to spend on gear caches. Did you get to use the glitch or did you have to farm them using the shitty intended every 10 minutes method?

Not surprising, the drop rates in escalation are an absolute fucking joke. In case you haven't seen them, someone on the subreddit datamined the droprates per NPC (bear in mind these are the buffed rates from the Y8 Season 1.1 update, they were even worse at launch):

• Tier 1: 0.20%
• Tier 2: 0.40%
• Tier 3: 0.60%
• Tier 4: 0.60%
• Tier 5: 0.80%
• Tier 6: 1.25%
• Tier 7: 1.50%
• Tier 8: 2.00%
• Tier 9: 2.50%
• Tier 10: 3.00%

I didn't use the glitch because I play solo. I got a lot of them (don't know how many exactly) just by walking around going from one lantern to another. The squads would appear quite often, sometimes two at the same time. The event allowed me to finally reach max expertise level.

I don't necessarily mind them being paywalled like the original ones, but a fiver each is a joke. The worst part is (other than national bond armory) they're generally not worth replaying more than once or twice. For the longest time mine have been mostly used as convenient extra fast travel points, except thanks to today's update they're not even useful for that anymore.

We're also getting more compensation later this week for all the server issues and they second, unplanned maintenance to fix it. They haven't said it'll be more proto cores, but given the Deltas/downtime cucked people out of Striker's targeted loot in escalation I feel if they go for the usual couple of exo components people might legit riot lol.
