I saw the posts on Weedeater here some time ago, and I started thinking about writing down my experiences with him from the perspective of someone who has seen it all first-hand and recently. I went along with it, so here it goes:
I first met Weedeater on Neocities of all fucking things somewhere in late November to early December of last year, when he followed my now-deleted site in there. Interested on who he was, I decided to strike up a conversation with him on Twitter, where I told him about my interests on obscure media and we forged a friendship through DMs. Nothing really special happened back then, but the worst was yet to come...
In mid-February, after a raid by the brother of who seemed to be a friend of his happened, which led him to close down his Discord, he re-created it, and I joined. The early days of that server were comfy and aside from some stuff involving that raid, nothing special.
However, one day he had a mental breakdown and asked people for advice on the vent channel. He talked about rejection, his previous actions and mentioned that he basically had no plans for the future. As the conversation went on, I and another person who was older than him stayed and tried to give advice
After that conversation, he gave me a role that pretty much meant that I was someone who he trusted and could rely on for advice. I felt a little bit confused since I felt that the other person helped a lot more than I ever did, but didn't reject the role either as I considered my contribution to be good. That was when I started feeling that he wasn't a good person to be around.
However, soon I'd start considering his server as more of an annoyance than anything. He started pinging everyone on random channels (including the general one) just to try starting conversations, constantly reminded people of the fact that he feared rejection, among other things.
His conversations on DMs weren't better either, as he told me that he had meltdowns over anything or anyone that was more popular than Yuna and as time passed also started sending perverted remarks that I usually ignored.
Shortly before I left his server in early March, he also started shilling a friend of his', and I only joined for a little bit.
Weedeater tried to convince me to rejoin both servers, but I refused to.
By this time he started saying lewd things to me on Discord and Twitter randomly. Considering that he seems to have done this with multiple people and his age, he seems like a groomer in the making, if not a full-fledged one already.
Then, Jongg found out about the Kiwifarms, and decided to make himself proud of it on Twitter.
At the start I'd think that I would ignore it, but after seeing everything in this thread and thinking it out, I decided to call him out on his bullshit. I halfheartedly gave him a second chance at the start, but soon after I changed my mind and outright blocked all his twitter accounts and Discord before he could get to stalk me on his very private side account.
And that's the whole story. If Weedeater reads this, I hope he actually gets a therapist soon, which is unlikely since he lives in a religious third world hellhole. If the guy who manages the other server reads this, kudos for managing to stand him for so long.
