It’s literally just a cop out because Linkara is a hack writer who wants his wish fulfillment fantasies to always put him on the top while everyone else worships him.
They blamed it as an "security risk," IIRC. Plus, it doesn't help that most of them has the same obsessive interests that all it led to a mod saying that "we're not 100% that you're this guy, but since you conveniently shared an IP address with him, once and had the same interests as him, you're getting the boot."

I think its once you're in a habit of reading them, you just see new ones, and grab them because, why not? You loved the last 85 of them, number 86 will probably be just as entertaining. Those habits can last a long time, but the second they break, they seem to break really hard . I used to collect American comics, and at some point it turned into a combination of that momentum, and just liking to talk with the folks at my local shop.
Can't have a believable female character with flaws to balance out her strengths anymore because it triggers the fems who've never played a video game before.
