Be nice to the Tropers, they read nothing more complex than Harry Potter so when told to read a different book they need something more simple.Goosebumps is for literal 7 year olds.

No wonder Harry Potter page is so complicated in TV Tropes' pageBe nice to the Tropers, they read nothing more complex than Harry Potter so when told to read a different book they need something more simple.
Ok, that’s fair. But it’s pretty reflective. Most Literature tabs on the site seem to be 80% YA novels. You expect high literature to use such a trope?
Are Wiki type sites just doomed to fall to autists? Is this just a fundamental fact of their existence?
Ah, yes, behold the most horrifying thing in the world: the dreaded day/night cycle!A couple more dumb Nightmare Fuel entries, this time from the Shantae series. For those who have never played, it is a cute cartoony platformer with a bit of slightly lewd humor, similar to Ducktales or something. Completely non-threatening.

Also, I saw this on a page and was surprised it was allowed to stay up.

Here's an example, they still hate colonialism in fiction whereas it died off IRL after the second World War.Yeah, and pretty much for the same reasons @NerdShamer brought up. Doubly so for pop culture wikis like TV Tropes.
Significantly after the second world war. Portugal was bankrupting itself in a futile struggle against communists in Africa until the 1970s. That said I don't think boomers of the age who would remember that use the site, aside from Fast Eddie himself. Here's an example, they still hate colonialism in fiction whereas it died off IRL after the second World War.
Seriously, just look at this shit.
Well, there's Fighteer, who's busy arguing with the tankies. Currently, it's about labor unions and how electric vehicles will require a new union (mostly over politics) and probably some job cuts. That said I don't think boomers of the age who would remember that use the site, aside from Fast Eddie himself.
They praised some fucking goosebumps knockoff for "talking about it"Here's an example, they still hate colonialism in fiction whereas it died off IRL after the second World War.
Seriously, just look at this shit. Archive because they're voting to cut it.
They'd already be strawmaning every media they see as "alt-right propaganda." Check the forum if you want to see what I'm legit talkin' about.I have a strong suspicion that TV Tropes is going to somehow make The Whitest Kids U’ Know into some “alt-right” stereotype and a bunch of their users are seriously going to deconstruct their humor as a gateway to the “alt-right”.
Without realizing that it’s just a comedy sketch show.
Damn I imagine that guy has nightmares about playing Castlevania II and seeing the "WHAT A HORRIBLE NIGHT TO HAVE A CURSE" message pop up if that's his reaction to a fucking basic day/night cycle in a video game.Nightmare Fuel: "The first game has a day/night cycle. At night, enemies are a *lot* more dangerous and have dark palette swaps to reflect this, and the music changes to a frantic tune."

Is there any TV Tropes category that comes even close to rivaling the autism contained in Nightmare Fuel? I know there's examples of the other categories but I think Nightmare Fuel is the most consistent in that every single time it's some sperg freaking out over 20 different examples of some mundane/inoffensive detail that made him shit his pants.
Instead of Female fanservice, it’s now Man fanservice. You know, this section on the YMMV for The Suicide Squad makes me raise an eyebrow:
