Honestly, C. S. Lewis would've been mortified since the series from the beginning was based on Christianity.

The best part? Gaiman claims to be a fan of Lewis.
Yeah but it's also... Aslan was such a personal and favorite character/creation of Lewis. What Gaiman did would be like torturing a favorite child.
....I have so many questions, and I'm not sure I want the answers to them.
Read it if you dare.

Neil Gaiman writes fanfiction as well? I wonder if other "professional writers" like Gaiman and E.L. James write fanfiction in their spare times?

But to me, Gaiman was basically a poor man's H.P. Lovecraft without the Jim Crow overtones. The only thing I liked from Gaiman is the collaboration he did with Yoshitaka Amano with the Sandman. Then again, even with The Sandman, I preferred the illustrations over the story. So there is that.

Since I am a huge fan of C.S. Lewis's Narnia, that fanfic came off as something an emo High Schooler would write on a bored day in Tech Lab class. Tries too hard to be edgy and just comes off as try hard. God I hate the trope so much.

I did some googling. It's about Susan backsliding from Christianity, which is very much a product of its time: 2004. There was always an sophomoric bent to the New Atheists.

Not that knowledgeable about Narnia's background, but I believe he wrote that story in response to Susan being left alone without a family by Lewis at the end of Final Battle.

forgive me if this is not the place to ask, but what exactly happened to Geth? Something about being dumb enough to use your kiwi name elsewhere?
He used the same username here as he did for a Wiki that catalogs feet. People began teasing him. He didn't take it well. People began asserting he was a pedophile. He was doxed. He took that even worse. Then he left the site.

Just how many more times are mentions of infectious disease gonna be filed under "Funny Aneurysm Moment" or "Harsher in Hindsight" before the Powers That Be finally get fed up and decide to ban any mention of COVID?
