I read something interesting last night. The current political divide is sheltered middle-class kids arguing with their parents.
By the end of the day, it's all grifters. Almost no actual working class has any clue to what the average psuedo intellectual spergs about and have no interest in finding out.

That Narnia fiction is why I swore him off. It's just so... mean spirited, I can't even think of a viable metaphor because I'm not sure Gaiman has a heart or soul enough to get it.
Honestly, C. S. Lewis would've been mortified since the series from the beginning was based on Christianity.
