I'll never forget one Troper comparing Agent 47 to the Las Vegas shooter. 47's kill count in Vegas was in the low single digits. And he's not Caucasian. But go off, I guess.

But this is par for the course with teenagers, i.e. the majority of active users on TVT.
Nah most of the users on TVT are manchildren and autistic teenagers. Only other users are fujoshits.

Fuck all of you
It is funny how Cinemassarce has never really had any scandals unlike Channel Awesome. Why I stopped watching the latter and stuck with the former instead. That and I guess I did always did prefer James Rolfe to Doug Walker. Despite his reputation as the "Angry Video Game Nerd", he actually has a rather calm & articulate voice when he's not in rage mode and just doing general reviews. Compare this to Doug Walker who sounds loud sometimes to the point of obnoxiousness nearly all the time.
What goes around comes around. He fires Charisma Carpenter for getting pregnant, after perverting her character. (She was a self-righteous nanny in S3, an awful villain in S4, and abruptly died in S5.)

Joss is a not-bad writer who bought into his own hype and constantly punched above his weight class.
How the mighty have fallen. Though I suppose it's his fault for drinking the social justice/feminazi kool-aid (Then again, even if he hadn't, his affairs with the Buffy actors would've still probably come out and that would still at least have a negative impact on his career).
A few choice quotes from TV Tropes users regarding that Harry Potter game designer, showing that they support Cancel Culture and all that, alongside championing anything regarding trans rights..

There is another game that's already done that kind of customisation shit; Immortals Fenyx Rising. That also gives you the option of having a male character with a female voice and vice versa, so what the dev team for Hogwarts Legacy is doing ain't exactly new or original. Also, that is something I've wondered myself why a trans-person can't simply choose to play as a character that's the gender they identify as (e.g. a man who ids as a woman can play as a female character and vice-versa) and why the dev team of Cyberpunk 2077 felt the need to add "Transgender" as a third gender option cos that kinda defeats the purpose of the whole "transwomen/transmen are women/men" thing as this implies that they are separate from biological males & females (I know they are but come on, lets have some consistency here). Then I remember that the definition of "trans" has been expanded to include the attention-whore tumblrites whose numerous & neverending "identities" are not real, not valid and have no basis in science no matter what they or their sycophantic supporters say "non-binary".
Also, I really do wanna punch these people so hard. Who knows, it might force them to upchuck the kool-aid they've gotten themselves drunk on.

Justin didn't sink CA, their own business model did. The market for Angry Reviewers has crashed. CA did more to oversaturate the market with unfunny prop comedians.

It's telling that those who survived--James, Brad, Phelous, even Lindsay--took an 'above the fray' attitude to all the negativity. Brad celebrates movies more than he 'riffs' them. I'm not a Mortal Kombat fan, quite the opposite, but Phelous loves it; his coverage is pretty endearing.

Well fuck, there's no going back

There ought to be a sitewide ban on these quotes. Funny how they zap anything "negative"... unless it's a dime-a-dozen hack reviewer on YouTube.

Jeremy is just a canned voice with too many opinions.

Oh God, do you happen to remember specifics, or at least what page it was on? I gotta see that nuclear hot take.
It's the Blood Money YMMV. The bit about "47, a rich white man" was later removed.

Incidentally, if they were serious about ban evaders, they would cutlist Hitman 1-5, because every word of those are mine.

I think the most embarrassing moment in my life was when I said some shit almost ten years ago at a Thanksgiving dinner that was from TVT and the teenage boyfriend of one of my nieces said "Someone's been on TV Tropes" and then I went and shot myself in the head.

Well I didn't but I should have.

...why can't you delete accounts of TV Tropes, anyway? I've looked into it before and found out you couldn't, and it's still baffling me to this day.

I think you used to be able to, from 2010 to 2012 if my memory serves me correctly. It wasn't even an account deletion tool - it just deleted your avatar and made it so you couldn't log in, and that was it.

Eddie basically told someone to go fuck themselves when they wanted a more "comprehensive deletion", and apparently, they got rid of the account deleter because of ban evasion. It's far more likely that Eddie just said "fuck it" and disabled it because he didn't want those dang dirty trolls shitting up the Holy Realm of Tropelandia.

I frequent fanfiction.net to find entertaining stories that; unironically, can be better than canon at the best of times, and I often check reviews to get an idea of what I'm about to read.

Every. Fucking. Time. I see a trope like "The Reason You Suck Speech", I avoid that shit like the plague. Worse still, when an author is actually proud of having a trope page, or is a troper themselves.

The only exception is authors who have genuinely good stories in spite of having a trope page and isn't a sperg.

Eddie shot down the possibly of "liking" comments, as well. His reasons were opaque. He's older than dirt; maybe he's nostalgic for the days of USENET?

I just write every bad decision that he makes as him going senile.

Speaking of which, what do you think of the new admins?
