I give away no secret when I tell you the TVT userbase is heavily, heavily autistic. This is not a cheap opinion, but an historical truth. You can tell by the number of user pages stating they're on the spectrum, the over-developed sense of 'justice,' the way TVT is skewed toward children's entertainment, the "lewdness" rule which they enforce with gusto, and the folks who practically live on those boards.

I'll just talk about myself. I recently evaded a ban and restored some information they cut from an article. Not the whole thing, just a paragraph, with some alterations. Within 20 minutes, a Troper with a Sonic the Hedgehog avi recognized the edit, ID'ed my previous sn, and reported me to the mods. He must have bookmarked the page and refreshed it constantly. Unless he was given mod privileges, but he's not listed as one.

To put this is context, a mini-mod sat on an article since last July, and recognized the edit as mine. He hadn't touched that article himself, and he didn't edit anything else that previous week. He must have memorized those edits over and over, committing them to memory, on the slight possibly that I might show again.

In a way, it's the ultimate self-replicating system. It reminds me of Huxley's "beta" caste, who were engineered in a lab to perform repetitive busywork, without complaint.

You can get alerts to page edits IIRC. I'm not sure why you assume they didn't go that route.

Normally, I would call you an retard for socking without moving, along with editing the same page. But we have...
Archived. Because they're onto us and think that we're getting involved. And they can't be bothered to use Google Docs because that info has to stay on the site. But Fighteer doesn't care, as long as the discussion stays on the forums

And hey, it's your fault that you guys can't keep it in your trousers, TVT.

You can't archive a page with folders. I tried that when they cut my character sheet. You have to create a sandbox version without folders and then archive that.

Even if they are "onto" us, they can scratch their eyes out for all we care. Stay mad, you autistic faggots.

EDIT: Oh, and I just found this:

Epic flame out that I'm too busy to sift through, right now.

Archived it, because it deserves to be immortalized and they know that they're getting page views from here, which they hate.
Looks like the juiciest parts of it were edited into just "I hate myself" and saying they'd delete their account were it possible. Shame, it sounded like a glorious explosion tbh.

...why can't you delete accounts of TV Tropes, anyway? I've looked into it before and found out you couldn't, and it's still baffling me to this day.

A few choice quotes from TV Tropes users regarding that Harry Potter game designer, showing that they support Cancel Culture and all that, alongside championing anything regarding trans rights..

More and more, they're shaving away at their page visitations. Save for us, but even I don't go there anymore. I doubt my ability to not have an unbridled urge to drink a shot of neat gin to drown out the severe autism I witness.

Fun fact, guys. You know the trope "Puppy Love"? Quite possibly one of the more dubious pages there because it's the equivalent of playing with kid dolls.

Undressed.

That trope page is basically creeps listing their underaged ships and headcanons.

The site was held together by melted shekels and duct tape, back in the day, and it still is.

But cancel culture doesn't exists!

It matters not. If a Troper doesn't like your face, he can, and will, request an IP check in ATT, and it's game over. There's a rule on the books which prohibits mini-modding, but it ain't worth dick.
Your IP address mainly goes off of geolocation, along with being tied to your router. For instance, if you're just using a different PC, it would read along the lines of XX.XXX.X02 as opposed to being XX.XXX.X01. Moving to a different city is enough to cast some doubt on the mods...until you mysteriously have the exact viewpoints on someone who was banned last month.
