Sweet Jesus...That's basically it, he didn't want to be held liable for having what could be child porn near him, but came back as the controversy started to die out.
And here's the people that he works with.

The site's Alexa rank is absolutely plummeting, from about 6000 in August to 8535 now. A lot of people are already leaving the site, but I don't know where they're going. Probably Reddit? That has a lot of the same cartoon spergs and leftist types.Either that or it gets an mass exodus of the (relatively) sane users and the site becomes a bigger hugbox than the Animal Crossing community.

@Uncanny Valley What was TV Tropes like at its peak in 2011? I know it used to have tropes like "Rape is OK if..." and "Innocent Panties", so it seemed even worse back then.
So I guess people saw all that disgusting shit and slowly left over the next few years?I meant in terms of popularity and people using and talking about it
That, and permanently banning the userbase with their "three strikes" rule.So I guess people saw all that disgusting shit and slowly left over the next few years?
Were the bans politically motivated, or because their userbase were such utter tards they banned them for incivility? That, and permanently banning the userbase with their "three strikes" rule.
Not really that different, it was always full of "lol im so quirky" nerds. Like most nerds, they were much less politically correct back then until the trend changed and peer pressure did the rest.@Uncanny Valley What was TV Tropes like at its peak in 2011? Political correctness is bad, but I'd take that over people wildly masturbating to "innocent panties" and "rape is OK if..."Not really that different, it was always full of "lol im so quirky" nerds. Yes.Were the bans politically motivated, or because their userbase were such utter tards they banned them for incivility?
So did there used to be a lot of right leaning users on there?Yes.

They quietly died off as the SJW movement grew; which, coincidentally enough, is what happened with Reddit. So did there used to be a lot of right leaning users on there?
Is TGWTG still big there? I always think of that as more a 2000s thing. I remember seeing Cinema Snob videos on YouTube around 2010 or so.Politically motivated and their moderators are utter exceptional faggots who ban users who do not fit the criteria of "who is in" in the editor base. This ranges from banning people for not being fans of That Guy With The Glasses and fatheaded nerd supremacy to outright laziness and pride over how "TV Tropes is written by me and it has to be this way because it's the only accomplishing thing in my life".
I can also attribute the lack of traffic in how insufferably written and smarmy TV Tropes has presented itself, and I'm not talking about bronies and spergs who ooze on about their series as diehard whore fans. TV Tropes claims itself to be a community of intellectuals and smart people, when it's in reality an outright demonstration of Dunning Kruger; the vast majority of its writers have shit attention spans and only provide ammo for those who argue that video games and electronic video entertainment rots your brains by writing about how wacky and zany and nonsensical the media is that they are witnessing and consuming than actually critically digesting and analyzing it in hindsight with putting out insight and actual knowledge of the shared story elements and thematic content; tl;dr TV Tropes is written by people who would rather consuum whatever was popular and got F-s in English because they half assed book reports.
By "quietly died off" do you mean "got banned for disagreeing with the moderators"?They quietly died off as the SJW movement grew.
Even spergs who relentlessly added their favorites to every single damn trope on the site (bronies being the most extreme example) were using it for its purpose. That's classic troper behavior. It's the people who instead spewed their shitty political opinions and hot takes and "reeee this is problematic" into every trope who are the cancer that killed the site.I can also attribute the lack of traffic in how insufferably written and smarmy TV Tropes has presented itself, and I'm not talking about bronies and spergs who ooze on about their series as diehard whore fans.

No, they were banned for refusing to fellate the girldick and subsequently enjoy it.By "quietly died off" do you mean "got banned for disagreeing with the moderators"?
The dropoff started well before the election so it wasn't that post in particular that caused it, but that would have driven a few more people off.
Too woke for TVT.The dropoff started well before the election so it wasn't that post in particular that caused it, but that would have driven a few more people off.
ResetERA comparisons are interesting because that site is doing much better. Its Alexa rank is 2,516 and relatively stable. TV Tropes is doing far worse than that miserable shower.
what happened to adric anyway... he seems to have dropped off the face of the earth. Did he 41% himself or did he do some soul searching and realize just how much of a massive faggot he was and attempt to put his affairs in order?
