Of course neoconservatives were pushing to attack Iran for years but after the politically unpopular debacle in Iraq that was off the table, aside from the odd strike like killing Soleimani, who was operating in Iraq at the time.

I have to assume they were hoping for Killary to get the Iran invasion kicked off. Neocons are still going ape mode at Trump for not warmongering.

Probably, which is why things like the Lincoln Project have happened with a load of neocons trying to support Biden. At this point though I think the time has simply passed. Strategic priorities are shifting to a Pacific focus and I don't think hypothetical president Biden would probably make that move.
 
I don't think anyone planned ahead that well when it comes to the Mideast.Everyone was ultimately just winging it.To be at least somewhat fair I never actually got why conservatives are so worried about Israel and its security.Israel has nukes if it came down to it Israel can take down the entire Mideast.I do believe there is a certain level of 'christian apocalypse' thinking among quite a few conservatives all that 'Rapture' crap I believe does influence their thinking.

This is going off topic but it mostly centred around concerns that other middle Eastern countries would get nuclear bombs. Iraq and Libya had nuclear weapon programmes at one point and Iran still does. If that actually happened then Israel's nuclear advantage would be gone, which is why they and the USA have conducted strikes on nuclear facilities before.

I don't know way, but I just found it sad and funny how this is the only thing that Tropers consider awsome about the movie Identify thief . Its not even a scene in the movie

I was expecting them to have under harsher in hindsight was Terry Crews coming out against the violent Black Lives matter movement. But they didn't.

Also found it funny how they tried to blame Last man Standing for the show almost getting canceled becuase the man character is conservative and the show has conservative humor, well this show has progressive humor. They don't even trie to hide their bias on this one.

I cannot wait for the day tv Tropes has its neogaf moment leading to a mass exodus of the degenerate filth from the site and form their own Resetera (hopefully Geth will have the sense to tell these people tomfuck off if they ever come to his door) leaving the (relatively) sane users to the task of making the site not terrible. Maybe even a somewhat pleasant place to hang out.

There's a higher chance it will stay as it is even if it gets worse. Like Something Awful, where the site is regularly rocked by the exposure of high-ranking rapists, abusers, and worse but everyone stays there because it's the only shithole willing to put up with their brand of autism.
 
First post on this thread. Rate me :late: if someone else has already discovered this, but searching up a poster's name enables you to see all of their posts.
Even in private forums.
So if I punch in "FastEddie" or "Fighteer" and set the filter to Mod Jabberings (the forum which is supposed to be private), I can get hilarious results:

Anyone can do this. It's a giant security hole they left open. I'm not trolling, just showing off why the site has such bad security.
