From the Dexter's Laboratory page, under both "Funny Aneurysm" Moment and Values Dissonance:

Anything resembling violence in a school setting reminds tropers of school shootans, especially if it involves a projectile in any way shape or form. I'm surprised they haven't claimed shooting spitballs to be 'Values Dissonance' yet.
Dude: "Hey, bro, wanna go shoot some hoops at the--"
Troper: (Hysterical sobbing.)

If by "regular", they mean "maybe twice a year" then sure. And getting even with bullies through slapstick humiliation is a classic kid's show plot, so it's stupid to think that pelting bullies with dodgeballs after they did the same to the protag is in any way similar to a school shooting.

The cliche about 'mass shooters are bullied in school' is partially a result of a misunderstanding about the Columbine shooters. Its never been accurately established what they went through in school but it seems they were troublemakers who got into conflicts quite often with other kids. They got attacked but they also attacked others.Basically they had more in common with the Christian Slater character from Heathers. In fact they were almost exactly like the guy including their plan of attack(which makes Heathers into an even better movie in retrospect for anticipating this kind of person).Their plan was a lot more ambitious they wanted to blow up the school killing hundreds and shooting fleeing survivors finally dying in some gunbattle with the cops. But their limited knowledge about bombs made that part of the plan fail.Them going into the school and shooting was actually improvised.Oddly enough had their plan worked and hundreds died its quite possible 9/11 would never have happened. While we can only speculate what a Columbine massacre with say 250 dead would have meant its a certainty the FBI would have become far more paranoid about potential plots of any kind across the nation. So its quite possible that 9/11 would have failed had the Columbine killers got their wish.Interesting to think about that.

Tropers view the world through current year lenses so anything resembling violence in schools needs to be condemned because guns are bad. Dennis the Menace fires a slingshot at his teachers butt? Clearly toxic masculinity and incel rage. Comedy needs to be a lecture these days.

Dexters revenge against the bullies is funny because he builds a super-advanced robot suit to overkill his bullies in a childish gym class game. Its exaggerated and over the top and funny, it would be the equivalent of stealing a tank from an army base to mug people in a back alley for 14 bucks out of their wallets.

It's been said before in this thread, but the Dethroning Moment pages are nothing but pure autism. Then you have the Dethroning Moment/Advertising page, where the autism is off the charts. Nothing but tropers getting triggered over commercials, of all things.
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/DethroningMoment/Advertising

It's one of the funniest pages on the site. Then I saw this entry towards the bottom.

Didn't Fast Eddie try to purge shit like this?

And yes, this troper even made their own page:

This is all you'll find on it, strangely enough. With an opening like that, you'd think this person would be autistic enough to apply tropes to themselves.

Found this howler on the Fridge page for Doom.

Except that the demons on the cover of the first game are clearly Barons of Hell.

The resemblance is clear, but you know what they say about people with autism being unable to identity people by face.
Also the cover has doomguy dual wielding SMGs and a second marine neither of which are in the game. It’s just fucking box art designed to make the game eye catching

From the Zootopia YMMV page:

"Harsher in Hindsight: The film deals with social bias and how, unchecked, it leads to profiling, prejudice and stereotyping with often destructive results. The film tries to end on an upbeat note by showing that one can overcome their biases by becoming aware of them and actively working to move past them. Sadly, the year the movie was released saw the election of an administration that actively spread messages of prejudice and stereotyping and used the resulting fear to gain a stranglehold on power. In addition, the years following its release showed rising occurrences of hate crimes and racial profiling plus ever increasing incidents of police brutality."

Let's face it: Everything in Harsher in Hindsight reads "I HAVE AUTISM PLEASE LAUGH AT ME!"

Uhhhh wasn't a major plot point of the film the characters and the police force overcoming their prejudices and moving forward to making the city a better place? Shouldn't that be a good message for right now where the police can be taught how to work with people who are different than them and do their jobs in a safer, more efficient way? But because police are bad this week a hopeful optimist message becomes bad, evil, wrongthink.

Let's face it: Everything in Harsher in Hindsight reads "I HAVE AUTISM PLEASE LAUGH AT ME!"
Harsher in Hindsight is a bunch of kids and autists snarkily commenting on how one scene or character from something made 20 years ago is now bad because the TV and Twitter that week told them it was bad.

@Strange Wilderness The woke crowd will tear that movie apart for placing the rookie through boot camp, an meter maid, and the chief punishing her for overstepping her responsibilities. There's an reason why the average beat cop is screened before being transferred to a specialized division

Erm... Isn't a lesson about leaving prejudices in the past and moving forward towards a better society just more relevant now? I don't get why he's upset about a cartoon saying "Bigotry bad."

Because the Oompa Loompa became Fuher of the U.S. in 2016, which was a total coincidence

TV Tropes don't even try to act like their neutral
And they ban anyone who points this out.

Speaking of which, the talk pages for No Bisexuals and their page for Asperger's show someone pointing out that one can't be simultaneously bi and married. Tvt's response? "I'm a gay non-practicing Christian!" "Your attraction switches between boys and girls, but never at the same time!" The other one is just the same guy pointing out how dumb " Aspie" sounds.

Sorry to double post but like what I did to that page https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/YMMV/Zootopia
Normally, we don't just the poop, we just laugh at it.

But in your case, you have a point. I hope that ban is worth it.
