I thought Tropes were things that popped up in a ton of media, like a comedic sidekick or a kidnapped princess? "I'm oppressed because the villain in this show isn't giving the dick to anyone" is not a trope.
Tropers have begun steadily inserting more and more Social Justice into the pages, as they see it as being completely righteous and the like. Heck, they even view the Social Justice Warrior label as something to be proud of. To quote one user (Tobias Drake to be precise)

"I'll never get over how much "Social Justice Warrior" sounds like an amazing 80's cartoon.

"Nyah ha ha! Soon I, Commander Male-Man, shall complete my evil plan to blanket the world in PURE TESTOSTERONE! Soon, everyone with a Y chromosome will become wild, frothing MANLY MEN! Wait! What's this?! Oh no, the SOCIAL JUSTICE WARRIORS have arrived to foil my dastardly plans!"

"Stop right there, Male-Man! We've come to save the people of the Earth from your wretched schemes, and allow men to be sensitive and nurturing without feeling shame for their way of life!"

I love looking at the page for renamed tropes. They changed a majority because apparently people are stupid
The libby
The spock
The wesley
The scrappy remains for some reason

Eh, I think "The Scrappy" didn't get renamed because it's probably the least opaque of all the "TV Tropes" terms and it's one of those Troper references that actually was a well-known reference outside the usual geek circles.

After all, Scrappy was the main villain in the live-action Scooby Doo movie from the early 2000's because he was infamous in pop culture for being disliked by the audience.

The "Cousin Oliver" trope kept its name for a similar reason.
