BAWWWWWWWWWW DA HORROR! DA HORROOOOOORRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eh, I can kind of understand the idea of this trope because it is a real phenomenon, although it was more of a thing in the 90's and 2000's than today since nobody really uses the G rating aside from Disney and PG has become the standard "family friendly" rating for most Hollywood movies and that trope is the reason why.

A lot of movie studios would intentionally up the rating of a film by throwing a mild swear or some crude humor on an otherwise G-rated film because PG films tend to sell more tickets since the G Rating did get a "kiddie" reputation by the late 80's/early 90's.

The MPAA in general is a relic of the late 1960's and needs to be either drastically overhauled and reformed or done away with altogether and replaced with a better ratings system.

https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/YMMV/EverybodyLovesRaymond Some ridiculous crap in the 'harsher in hindsight'.The fact that Peter Boyle(the dad) died earlier than Doris Roberts(the mom) is harsh.Tropers don't seem to know that men tend to die earlier than women most of the time and that Boyle was already in his 70's when he died. Not the oldest guy around but definitely not young anymore.
They also go way too much in trying to interpret the characters on a sitcom.Tropers don't know that sitcom characters are almost never completely loveable in fact most sitcom characters and most of the humor comes from them acting like idiots or jerks.
And its values dissonance the fact that the dad makes non-PC comments despite the fact that the show itself treats that as a joke at his expense.Apparently when your non-PC dad comments on how he doesn't like something today you're supposed to leave the house and never talk to them again(actually this is what SJWs propose).
My favorite is the "funny anyymerism" on the bullying episode. I swear tropers looks too deep in these shows

When a page starts off with a Nostalgia Critic quote, you know it's going to be good stuff.

you notice they always feature that “Pleasant goat” in every example page, despite it not being popular outside of it’s home, China. Why is that?

I just now realized that a lot of BreadTubers have TV Tropes pages. While there's nothing uniquely cringe about them (TV Tropes-wise), it's the typical slavering over internet personalities that bothers me.

No. No. Please stop. Every time I have to read this shit, Olly starts to rape me through the Internet again.

I wonder if someday I'll be able to hear the end of how awesome and inspiring and heartwarming the legitimately impactful bad thing that BreadTube somehow managed to accomplish is.

Little do they know that all that money was sent to a death cult. Also, who the fuck finds getting money from a filthy traitor to be awesome?

You notice (along with Pleasant Goat) that they love to mention this show called Simple Samosa, like, what the heck is that! It sounds like a dish or something. Mmm

Not surprising. TV Tropes has an endless obsession with shows aimed at preschoolers. And I'm pretty sure the people writing these aren't the mothers who watch the shows with their kids.

I'm highly convinced it's either some autist in their basement (like most tropers), or someone from China trying to push their favorite show onto others.

Or maybe both, fuck if I know.

They have a page on Shimajiro tiger! XD but I’m sure because of the meme.

Also, I noticed a lot the articles felt like they were written by scat fetishists. Like “Nobody Poops” is the worst offender, but I think of more.
