Oh I'm well aware of that.
They also seem to have never heard of the word "cute", instead using autistic weebshit words like "kawaii" and "moe", even when describing things created outside of Japan.
Seriously, that page is unholy levels of mass autism. If you hadn't read the quote in its entirety, go for it just to see how insane tropers are.
You forgot their weird use of """Adorkable""" as well.

The “tv tropes" vernacular, as determined by contemporary anthropologists and linguists, is the native dialect of ethnic autists.

After enough time on TvTropes, you either acclimate to the environment, or you become like me and just roll your eyes when you see something too fucking stupid and move on. The political bullshit and autism becomes like tv static in the background, unless you see something that's just too fucking stupid that you are shocked back into reality, and you have to come to a site like this to remind yourself how stupid all this shit really is.

HAHAHAHAHHA, jesus mohammed christ this thread is a fucking eye-opener.

I used to frequent tvtropes (not the forums, fortunately) and I failed to notice this sea of autism before me. I'm very very tempted to do a full re-write of my personal stories to rid myself of the tropes I gathered from this shitstain on the internet.

Sometimes you get some interestingly aggressive trope examples...

In Harvest Moon DS Cute, it's possible to choose one of the four special not-exactly-human girls as a "best friend" in place of a husband. Should you go their route, the Harvest Lord will show up at some point and magic up a kid for you and your "friend". Only in the Japanese version, though, since Natsume had to appease Moral Guardians who wouldn't acknowledge this game exists if it broke into their house at night and ate their children alive.

Maybe if the title of the game includes "cute" in it, that's a hint as to why it was never localized in the US.

Or, you know, it was probably those damn moral guardians. But I'm confused as well, because that entry insinuates that an English version does exist, minus the magicing up a child for beastiality couples, but then later seems to say people won't acknowledge the game exists...

It was localized, just without the lesbianism. Probably because it's a game for children.

I think they mean to say that it was released in America, and it was censored, but it was pointless to do so because no one would've cared if an anime game had lesbian subtext.

Except, well, they would. If I recall correctly, this was around when the gay marriage debate was at its tensest, so of course some suburban Christian mom would flip at what is basically gay marriage being an option in a kid's game. Methinks this troper is a little bit too butthurt about not being allowed to be a 12-year-old anime lesbian.
ed: beaten to the punch

I didn't know that Andrew Dobson had an account on TVTropes.
