One of the reasons why I hate TVTropes is because the circlejerk for Channel Awesome and Mr. Enter is incredibly large and obvious, and it really shines through in the so bad it's horrible section.

Then again, e-famous autists generally attract autists.
I actually took a look at the Animated Films section to see how bad the circlejerk was, and interestingly, one of the rules for the page was as follows:
  1. It isn't a Horrible animated film just because The Cartoon Hero, Rebel Taxi, The Mysterious Mr. Enter, anyone from Channel Awesome, JonTron, AniMat, Bobsheaux, Media Hunter, Phantom Strider, and/or any other Caustic Criticreviewed it, or because it was featured on I Hate Everything's The Search for the Worst. There needs to be independent evidence, such as reputable critics (emphasis on plural) for example, to list it (though once it is listed, they can provide the detailed review).

I guess they wanted to contain the autism in some way. It does follow this guideline reasonably well for the Studios and Theatrical sections, but the Standalone examples are a clusterfuck of different Internet critics complaining about movies. And yes, Mr. Enter, Nostalgia Critic, and Phantom Strider do get mentioned repeatedly in the Standalone examples as if anybody who was casually reading it gave a shit what these people on the Internet think.

only some rules on tvtropes will ever be actually enforced, even if the rules are either bullshit or dont even exist

It also shows that they guy who posted it wasn't aware that it was a rerun (Robot Chicken's been off the air, aside from a handful of non-Star Wars specials, since mid-2016).
Not true. Season 9’s premiering soon, or maybe already has by now.

A lot of their terminology rubs me the wrong way. For an outsider, it's obnoxious and difficult to infer what is meant. This page sums it up well: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.p...lary?from=Main.TVTropesWillRuinYourVocabulary

I also don't understand their desire to break media down into bullet points and compartmentalize every aspect of it until all context and meaning is lost.

The whole point of troping is media analysis, breaking it down into discrete parts so they can be examined in detail.

Think an autistic version of customizing guns and gun parts.

This isn't bad in and of itself, it's a legitimate discipline for certain types of professions in the media industry, but tropers get accused, not wrongly, of being so focused on the leaves they miss the forest, hence the common accusation tropers consider 'tropes" legos and trying to build stories in such a manner which usually ends up in autistic shitpiles like most of the crap on Fanfiction.net and the insanity that is their Tropes Pantheon site subsection.

:autism:

The best way to understand this is to remember they're probably literally mentally disabled.

From what I have seen on many troper pages, they have been diagnosed with Asperger's.

Medically, or just Tumblr style? Originally I would have thought there was a lot of oppression points self diagnosed autism on TV Tropes, but, having seen how pants on head exceptional they are, I now believe it's probably genuine.
