No, I proudly agree. Whomever made that vid needs his internet taken away quite fucking badly.

The video is a guy, CrazyGoggs, reading out TV Tropes comments to mock them, not the tropers themselves reciting their posts. He has loads of videos of how awful This Troper was before it got removed from the site.

The most hilariously bad Tropers Tales page was the one on "Perverse Sexual Lust".
For those that never witnessed, Tropers sperg about wanting to fuck fictional characters.
Squidward Tentacles,
Zangief X Krystal action,
Momo (AKA the monky bat from The Last Airbender),
Waluigi,
Vince Offer (the Shamwow guy, and yes, I know he's technically real, but it's still hilarious),
and for one of the worst one I can find, there was this:
"As a proud shotacon, this troper gladly takes Young and Toon Link"

I despise the fact that A) They literally think Araki has a music fetish despite the community once having a fetish wikia
B) They literally are retarded enough to post a WMG...(ugh) that
"Romeo and Juliet wuz a fanfic gaiz!!!<3"
3) They don't do anything on one of my favorite games, yet everything else, even the Spongebob Barnacle has an elaborate page.

I fully support All The Tropes and would like to contribute tbh...

As a matter of fact I don't even know their stance on Christianity. On one hand, as SJWs, they're obligated to condemn Christianity, but on the other, as tropers, they mustn't say anything mean.

Plus a lot of them are hardcore Veggie Tales fans.

I thought the rule on "mean-spiritedness" would generally stop them from criticising it too much. What they believe in private I don't know.

Back when I browsed (like 2010-2011) they were actually pretty defensive of it. They had an entire page dedicated to talking about how "Christianity Caused All Wars" is a myth and a lie.

Granted they've shifted gears a lot so they probably made a total 180 on this stance.

TVTropes would be cool if it wasn't for their view on Christianity
It would take more than that to make TV Tropes cool, like getting rid of the SJWs, cartoon spergs, weeaboos, Trump sperging, bronies, butthurt fanboys, furfags, mass autism, and probably much more that I can't think of at the moment.

That would kill the website.

For @GethN7 it is, considering that they would flood ATT. Consider TVTropes as a containment site.

Two things:

1. I'm not gonna pretend ATT is any better, just that we've tried to keep the cancer away as much as possible.

2. There comes a point in a website's life where the rot sets in and you can't remove it without killing the site. How long this takes before it's irrevocable varies from site to site, and while people can bitch about when that applies to certain websites forever, one thing is clear:

When it happens, you either have to burn the whole thing down or choose to revel in your cancer, and by the time the cancer is terminal, most places with it get to the point they'd find killing themselves so painful they just accept the disease.
