I'd say fanwikis.
Wikipedia's userbase is definitely autistic. You have to be to want to catalog knowledge like that. But Wikipedia also covers a diverse range of subjects and most of it covers actual practical knowledge of science, math, history, philosophy, politics, art, and on and on. Fan wikis are just obsessive projects dedicated to creating objective facts out of subjective views on the wiki's subject. There's also the fact numerous professional experts contribute to Wikipedia, compared to the types of people who gravitate towards the Sonic wiki.
Wikipedia's community is still pretty shit though.
