Just out of curiousity, do you think that Wikipedia has higher levels of autism or 'fanwiki' communities like TV Tropes, Wookiepedia, and most of the Wikia websites?

I'd say fanwikis.

Wikipedia's userbase is definitely autistic. You have to be to want to catalog knowledge like that. But Wikipedia also covers a diverse range of subjects and most of it covers actual practical knowledge of science, math, history, philosophy, politics, art, and on and on. Fan wikis are just obsessive projects dedicated to creating objective facts out of subjective views on the wiki's subject. There's also the fact numerous professional experts contribute to Wikipedia, compared to the types of people who gravitate towards the Sonic wiki.

Wikipedia's community is still pretty shit though.

Yeah, fanwikies are probably more autistic, Wikipedia and offshoots like CP and RationalWiki are more sociopathic with a dash of autism.

Kind of like Rain Man vs the Unabomber.
 
Kira Doom: The Aura Guardian's "Pokémon With Odd Gender Ratios". As someone who hates gender stereotypes, I should have known this was going to be bad, but I was still curious. And it wasn't just as bad as i expected; it was worse. Pointing out that feminine-looking Pokemon can actually be male (or masculine-looking Pokemon can be female) isn't bad on it's own, he keeps saying that it's weird how some Pokemon don't conform to a certain appearance, almost as if it's a bad thing. He also keeps forgetting that while some Pokemon can invoke Dude Looks Like a Lady or Lady Looks Like a Dude, in most cases, Pokemon who aren't the gender they appear to be are usually still the minority. This makes it seem like the Aura Guardian doesn't want any Pokemon to look like one gender and be another, which adds even more Unfortunate Implications. It doesn't help that he states these ratios and/or shows them onscreen. But what offended me the most was a sketch in the video: the video's guest star doesn't believe that one of the mentioned Pokemon has an "odd" gender ratio, then turns and talks to a plush toy of a Spritzee. He assumes the Spritzee is a female, but then "she" speaks in a deep, manly voice, and the guy is shocked. This whole thing makes it seem like defying gender norms is bad, and as a proud feminist who doesn't believe that gender norms should exist, it left a sour, bitter taste.

Escargon scaring Dedede out of his wits with a ghost (in the dub we're never told who the ghost's name was) was not funny. Not only that, this episode gives a glimpse of Dedede's abusive nature by showing him chasing Escargon with a chainsaw! Thankfully this scene never made it into the dub version (probably because it was too violent for kids to see). But even without the chainsaw scene, the episode's main point is that Dedede likes abusing his minions.

The Zero Punctuation DMoS page is hilarious. A bunch of morons who fail to realize that Yahtzee's basically a stand up comedian in a slightly animated video form.
 
I got a good feeling about this dedede guy, could be a goldmine. It's too bad his account is a red link, gotta just look for him manually.

In ascending order of :autism:, I think it goes something like this:
1. Wikipedia: Infected with Autistic users and admins alike, who aren't above deleting your hard work and wiping it clean because they don't like what you wrote, not because it was incorrect or inaccurate.

2. TVTropes: Full of people who feel like they have a requirement to dictate how you should watch, read or listen to something.

3. Non-Wikia fanwikis: The vast majority of these are dominated by circlejerking. Take IMPDB, the Internet Movie Plane Database, which is closed to new users and as such is completely and woefully out of date and full of poorly-made pages with just images of planes in the distance, which appeared in a film for a few seconds or so.

4. Wikia: When Wikia's staff itself aren't treating people who took their work off their servers and onto independent hosts like shit, Wikia is full of children, whiny teenagers, circlejerking and raw autism, to list just some of the things you'll find there. People who don't like your opinion won't hesitate to ban you on sight or warn you for even minor infractions. Basically the worst of all the previous three websites.
