He thinks the game would've been "improved" by the brutal death of a little girl, so I don't think he was ever worried about sounding sane.

I can't think of any game that was improved by the death of a little girl. Including games where a little girl was killed. Killing kids never improves a game.

Except maybe Final Fantasy 12, but that was more implied by the fact that Judge Bergan had cut a bloody swath through a refuge camp on his way to kill Dream-Pope. I don't recall it being stated outright. Point is, know when to kill characters and when not to, and I speak from experience on this one!

TVTropes is the authority on what to do if you're caught up in an airstrike. Though I can buy the people who use the site are autistic enough to not recognize a bomb because it's not like the ones they've seen on TV/in video games.

The problem is Samus' characterization is too subtle for them. It's all implied in diary entries and small gestures. The small wave she gives at the end of Prime 2 tells us more about Samus than any conversation in Other M did, but it requires someone to actually pay attention to more than dialog.
 
If there's one thing I love about Fighteer it's how politically neutral he is and how he totally does not push his views onto the site.

As for your politics, well, we explicitly ban hate speech, and we consider the views of certain groups to be inherently hateful. These include MRAs. It's not a right-left thing, but it is a thing about civility in discourse and the ability to debate without vilifying one's opponents. Shit like this is why I'm cautious with trans headcanons. It's almost always based on gender essentialist bullshit and the "Samus is a trans woman" bullshit proves it.

Remember though most troons are also blatant waifufags who want a shy, demure lesbian cuddle partner. There's no way a tall, muscular, gritty mercenary like Samus could possibly be a girl.

Oh, that science bullshit? lol. Guess "gender essentialist" is the new word they came up with just to avoid admitting they're anti-evolutionary biology.

Though the double standard is still ironic; claiming a video game character must be "transgender" because they look masculine, while at the same time claiming that gender is just a social construct, something based on outdated Tabula Rasa theory that's more or less been debunked by modern biology anyway.

Well it makes about as much sense as "gender is a social construct... but being gay is genetic" anyway.

Regardless I can guarantee that the creator never intended for Samus to be a tranny, so this is just their pitiful attempts at retconning their deviance into fiction even when the author never intended it.

It's actually a triple insult. It insults women by insinuating they have to be men to be athletic. It insults men by saying most of them cosplay as women if they want to be seen as female and sporty, and it insults the transgender by accusing any who fit that body type of BSing their gender to fit a stereotype.

It's one of the most bigoted and insensitive things anyone could argue in good faith if you ask me.
