@bigbaby, we are not here to give people writing advice; we're here to laugh at tropers.

If you're interested in writing and especially in the use of "tropes", please ask at TVT's forum.
Yes please. I might be guilty in giving you advice right now. But this really isn't the right place to be asking those kinds of questions. I just want to go back to laughing at terrible YMMV pages and moronic tropers who can't keep it in their pants.

The WMG section is crazy there, and is full of stupid things that won't happen. For example, people thought Nemo would rap in Finding Dory, and most of the WMG for Inside Out is just "What would the emotions of someone who has X be like?" Same thing with the Headscratchers section for the same movie. Can't you just write a fanfic about "Inside Out in the mind of someone with [thing that makes them special here]" rather than asking people what they think of your ideas?

^Not only TVTropes, Tumblr and Deviantart are also obsessed with Reader/Self Insert stories for a while. Of course knowing how the three websites are...to think fandom ended up like this...

tvtropes just added a relationship status option for profiles. I can't copypaste it because it is a dropbox but brony is the least autistic option

Never forget.
Back when my dad was a Marine Corps CID agent he wore a suit with a trenchcoat on duty. He also carried an M9 back when they were literally brand new and had a MAC-10 in the trunk to bust crackheads. It was basically the ultimate Tvtropes neckbeard power trip fantasy. And what would he and his friends do? Listen to Phil Collins and pretend they were Rico and Sonny from Miami Vice.

The thing that will always kill me about TV Tropes is that no matter how hard they may try to proclaim things like "sitting in a chair is not a trope" or "every thing is not a trope" it is such utter bullshit. They turn every thing into just that.

No topic or action is too obscure or irrelevant. There are literally ancient religions that are not as scrupulous and exacting as they are with unnecessary details, and the idea of tropes or literary archetypes holds up about as well as some of the finer, hyper technical points of those same religious dogmas, too. Their imaginary sense of academia is bizarre.

Put simply, autism has nothing on TV Tropes- it is like the Time Cube of autism. It is autism multiplied by four and taken to the level of rare and difficult to verify Hadiths about the Prophet Mohamed.

Making up "tropes" in TVT is like gluing cow horns on a dog and then declaring it a species new to science.

With anything cartoon / anime, isn't something like this par for the course when you're only focusing on a small (e.g.: reasonable) number of characters as your main focus??? I shouldn't be putting more thought into this than whomever wrote this did.
