Again, it really disturbs me -not only that these people seem to have an exhaustive knowledge of voice actors, but that they assume everyone else does as well.

Literally everything about this screenshot irritates me.

This one really just speaks for itself.

one more, I believe from the Shin Megami page. This is either someone reaching or someone who wanted to shoehorn in something that was already explicitly obvious so they had to add some stupid analogy. I can’t decide which.

The only slight excuse is that some cartoons will often smuggle in a lot of jokes based upon the voice actors.

For example, there was a Justice League episode where the League had to fight Joker and his Royal Flush gang. Said gang was all voiced by the actors (and actresses) who did the Teen Titans series at the time. I could go on for awhile with examples just to prove that to be slightly fair to the trope autists, a lot of shows and writers encourage this.

There was also that short where Joker and Trickster kidnapped Mark Hamill who voiced both characters in the past. He then impersonates them both to get them to fight each other. Then the situation is defused by Swamp Thing, who was also voiced by Mark Hamill in another show. I've lost a lot of respect for Mark in recent years, but it was a pretty amusing bit.

Somebody is convinced that IF was about school shooters. In Japan. In like 1994.

Not just voiced, Mark Hamill played the Trickster in the first Flash series. It was that role that really gave him the idea of trying out for more villainous parts.

Another Justice League one was the episode where Lex Luthor and Flash switched bodies. In the show, Flash was voiced by Michael Rosenbaum who played... Lex Luthor on Smallville.

And what a fantastic episode it was.

Imagine shoehorning in your own nation's problems into other series of foriegn entertainment that was made before you were able to spell, walk, or were even born.
Not to mention, this game came out before Columbine, when school shooters (as we know them now) became a thing

I mean School Massacres have been a thing for eons, shit the Bath School Massacre was nearly 100 years ago.

But it's Japan, one of the hardest places to get a gun.
If they wanted to kill each other, they stab each other to death.

Fors anyone else notice that TV Tropes will occasionally use the word deplorable when describing a very evil villain. Like they really have adapted the name that Hillary used to insult half the country and what made most people realize what a evil bitch she is

I believe this was from the Daria page. Possibly from Beavis & Butthead.

Tropers demonstrating their inability to separate art from artist.

Next time, I’ll do a bigger drop. I mostly just want to bitch that TVTropes’s search is so busted that it’s quicker for me to use google than to wait for their search to process.
