Let me state the obvious: independent Tibet was an authoritarian and feudal theocracy, but that does not make the Chinese communists the good guys, and it especially does not justify a full-scale genocide of demographic replacement, cultural destruction, and active extermination of dissidents.
 
I had this post lying around on my hard drive but I didn't bother posting it because of the Roe v. Wade saltmine.

Those Kickstarter backers must be feeling really ripped off. 5 or 10 bucks and all you got was access to the beta site, a poorly-coded badge that actually breaks the formatting of the forum threads, and ad removal that could have been accomplished by your garden-variety adblocker for free. Yet apparently, no one complains.

Stockholm syndrome is a powerful thing.

Well, that and actually reading what the Supreme Court wrote instead of seizing on the first talking point - "ABORTION IS BANNED FOREVER!!!!1" and raging about it in true NPC-like behavior.

Well abortion hasn't been outlawed nationwide, yet. But seriously, start saving up on getting sterilized if you enjoy sex.

I will die laughing if the republics win a huge majority this year, go in and pass a nationwide abortion ban...

And then it gets struck down by the SCOTUS 9-0 with a note scribbled on the bill in red ink: WHEN WE SAID LEAVE IT TO THE STATES WE MEANT IT!
