I'm sorry. It's just so weird that these fetish pages come up on the site when the rest of it is relatively normal.
Let's see, random trope button.
Fletchette Storm > Power Glows > Webcomic/El Goonish Shive > Transformation Comic
New round.
Unusual User Interface > Artificial Limbs > El Goonish Shive and so on.
Iconic Logo > Humans Through Alien Eyes > Oh it's our old friend mister Shive again...
Conducting The Carnage > Dissonant Serenity > Zebra Girl > Transformation Comic
I don't know if this is the point I was going for.

El Goonish Shive has a lot of fetishes?

Much like their father going out for cigarettes, the TV tropes community's sense of proportion, rationality, and morality left ages ago and still hasn't come back.

I gotta say, the Fair For Its Day trope, and the entries on its page rub me the wrong way, especially in regards to its descriptions on how older games used female heroines.

Archived, because it's been four years.

I did not need to be reminded of that.

And just when I want to go to bed, too.

Dick.
Well, you don't see the people in that thread complaining about him posing in front of confused teenagers. Plus, he actually lives with his parents and left them a letter explaining that he's trans. So far, they haven't responded to him, which means only a few things, at this point.

I wonder if one could adapt the Six Degrees Of Hitler game (i.e. click random Wikipedia page and find a link to Hitler within 6 outlinks), but with sick fetish pages on TVTropes.

To celebrate Sora's inclusion in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, here's TV Tropes sharting themselves to Sora's sacrifice in the first game.

With its use of multiple Disney children's classics as mere windowdressing, an absolutely convoluted mess of a plotline that requires understanding multiple ancillary side stories and a vacuousness disguised as profundity with big words, can there be a more quintessential TVTropes franchise?

I don't think they existed 50 years ago. Not that it matters because tv tropes says the dumbest things...
Also here's this nugget from the sinfest main page

I love how they feel threatened by woke stuff being painted in a negative light.
I used to read some parts of Sinfest and I couldn't really get into the story. It looked overdramatic and had this "edgy college kid going through emotional issues" vibe to it.

That's how all leftists act nowadays that more and more people are getting tired of their "philosophy on humanity" nonsense. Yeah, people are flawed and can be the worst pieces of shit imaginable. That's how we've always been, and trying to make us "better" is a catch-22. We'll never be perfect, despite all of their "and that's okay" cop-out. Leftists hate to see it, so they disguise their hate under a thin veneer of whatever transparent virtue.

More and more people are starting to see how contradictory and inconsistent they can be.

Many of them are even seeing how counterproductive they are to their narrative by allowing men into women spaces. Ever read the comments under Chris's articles talking about his arrest?

Yeah, plenty of leftist men and women were against the state to have him be in a women's prison. That's the kind of world they asked for, so why should they complain? That cake they have has Chris's shit all over it as frosting, even the "candy", so they should try to eat it, too. Morons.

Pretty sad and autistic when you need to jump through several mental hoops in order to convince yourself a video game is OK to like according to woke ideology.

Either that or something like Channel Awesome where slapstick gags and yelling loudly are inter-spliced with shallow analysis of media performed by so called "deadpan snarkers" with autistic lore and worldbuilding. Exactly how most Tropers see themselves.

I just noticed how it seemed like they were implying that, as beloved as older characters like Lara Croft, Samus Aran, Ms. Pac Man, and Rosa were, they didn't really hold up as being "truly good female characters" due to being sexualized, having sexual characteristics, or are a distressed damsel (in Rosa's case) which they say would never be acceptable by todays standards (at least in terms of how they were shown at the time in the case of the former two).

Good point. Channel Awesome also had shoddy and irresponsible management and administration, just like TVTropes.

Their all femine and have good personalities. That's why TV Tropes hates them so much

Ah yes, military dictators like Hitler, Stalin, Churchill, and Pinochet.

I too remember Churchill holding military parades down Trafalgar square while a giant portrait of himself is saluted by everyone.
