TVTropes is a good site if you want to know some trivia based on stuff you like but other than that it’s shit.

Especially with the YMMV page where some people put their own personal feelings and act like it represents a fandom (I.e. the Jojo part 4 page where someone said that Akira was a perfectly good character who was wasted and could’ve been Kira’s vanilla Ice like the “fans” wanted)

Everyone's already said something, but my take:
  • The Forums (aka, the Userbase in general!)
  • A grand majority of the tropes in general (especially in most of the subpages including and not limited to YMMV.)
  • Just how cringy the whole site itself is, due to these 2 things on the surface, despite there being much more wrong than just that.
In short, someone said it best (and I agree with that sentiment) when the correct answer is EVERYTHING, honestly.
Being associated with that site in any way really is a terrible way to use time, unless you're looking for (useless) trivia.

Last time I checked, wasn't Brexit supposed to be (pardon me yelling here...) A FUCKING GOOD THING for England!

Remember kids, you can always count on TV Tropes to be full of people who think Communism/Socialism on a large scale is OK and if the world were ruled by fascists/authoritarians pushing this BS, everything will be great.

I'll throw my vote in with stuff like Funny Aneurism Moment, Harsher in Hindsight et cetera.
But I think the page on " The New Ten's" stands out as the worst.
TV Tropes fumbling/autistic attempts to explain/apply Tropes to current trends and politics is just a special level of cringe worthy.

Really, all their decade pages are cringe worthy as shit.

The New Tens is basically them trying to write history and that they think they're on the right side of history.
