Why hasn't a thread been made on that fucker yet? I'm tempted but he sounds too much like DarknesstheReviewer and I just have to step away from laughing too much.
We did, and as @Positron kindly pointed out, it then became a subforum filled with AIDS and extreme levels of autism (something I'm not proud to admit I contributed to).

But as has been proven, Enter's autism is pretty fucking infectious if it managed to do it to us. It doing it to TVTropes is not surprising in the least, all things considered.

I can't stress enough that I am A-OK with that shite staying dead and buried.

This is especially knowing what I contributed to it should have never even been in the first place and how deeply ashamed I am to this day for doing so...

Just another thing I should have just been laughing at it from a distance... Like everyone else.

Just continue to archive any shite coming from bums like him and call it a day, that's all, if need be.

Not even Labyrinth is safe from TV Trope's pedophilia:

Also, the actress was 15 when the movie was made.

The ad-light promise is a pile of shit. Maybe light on space, but I've noticed that whatever ads they're running make my browser chug. Probably has something to do with the fucking autoplay videos.
Yeah it's the Autoplay that does that. Typically make's browsing the site a chore on anything other than a desktop and even then it still runs like shit sometimes. At least in my experience. But I suppose it should be expected. Autism, at least of the Troper variant, isn't conductive to good website design.

Autism is never conducive to good web design. Have you seen screenshots of the original Sonichu site? Carnival in Rio is more subdued.

Getting caught up with this thread, I noticed some discussion of the "Awesome," "Funny," and "Heartwarming" subpages. Friendly reminder that the only reason those exist in the first place is because Tropers have such low standards for everything.

They used to have three tropes, "Crowning Moment of Awesome/Funny/Heartwarming." The problem with these was that tropers would list every little thing under them. It got to the point where they actually had to have these discussions about "is [moment X] really that much of a crowning moment?" The solution was to create these three subpages and let the tropers sperg to their heart's content.

I'm pretty sure that's how it happened, anyway. Someone like @GethN7 could correct me if I'm wrong.

Basically true. They tried to set a certain standard for these tropes, but their very nature meant that was basically impossible, so they were like "screw it" and came up with the current solution.

From a purely pragmatic standpoint, it does make logical sense if you want to avoid less hassle and shitflinging over what qualifies.

90% of their user base, especially those who post on the forum, need a good old-fashioned backhand or two. Make sure to wear a glove though.

BIN LADEN WAS GAMERGATE BEFORE GAMERGATE WAS A THING! Gamergate did 9/11! Al-Qaeda is code word for gamergate!

Well, to be fair, he didn't actually mention Gamergate. Fear of the alt-right is far more widespread than Gamergate ever was, even helping to ruin Clinton's campaign.

What's next, Bin Laden was an alt-right false flag to get people to hate Muslims?

i just realized the quote on the page, "Do not say that SpongeBob SquarePants is dead or you will be yelled at, on the internet and in real life." came from tv tropes

i did not know that until i looked at the page

i also was unaware it'd still be up

Apparently Chris used to tard rage whenever anyone said Sonic was dead. Yet another similarity been tropers and Chris.

And here's another: tropers used to tell stories about their DIRTY, CRAPPED BRIEFS.

Some of the entries that do actually fit in those areas aren't even there.

I'm starting to think that the tropers are just shittily autistic enough that they just want to put something they have written on the site just for the sake of it, and it's not because their feelings are easily swayed. It's like those forum users who try to rack up postcounts and always end up making subpar posts that contribute nothing.

You'd think a bunch of pussies who think a baby spider crawling up the wall is "nightmare fuel" wouldn't be full of insipid liberal mods... they'd be very scared to piss off ANYONE.

Will never understand American contradictions.
