I don't mean to sound like a victim-blaming asshole, but if Volts has decided to forgive her father and give him a second chance, why does she continue to milk her status as a molestation survivor for all it's worth?

Apparently MORE than just molestation... I mean, this is heavy to read and one of the reasons I always gave Volts the benefit of the doubt on their claims, because to make up something like this would be downright unforgivable.

Tumblrinas are excellent at doing the things ordinary people would consider unforgivable, I've noticed. I'm gonna call bullshit on this one. That sort of sexual abuse isn't the sort of thing anyone short of Jesus would be inclined to forgive and forget.

...Or maybe Buddha. He was a forgiving dude, right?

Well, she did forgive Vade because she thought it would be cruel and selfish not to forgive. I'm sorry but abusers do NOT deserve any forgivenes whatsoever. Thinking that you have to forgive everyone and everything that is morally reprehensible is a fucked up, unhealthy, and EXTREMELY toxic way of thinking, especiay something as despicable as rape/molestation.
 
I'm just going to say Volt isn't Benedict Arnold because at least old Benedict was actually really, really good at his job and switched sides over being constantly snubbed by his superiors. Volt was always a fucking dullard.

I gave her the same benefit for the longest time, but when in just about every conversation she whines about how literally everything is wrong with her because of her abuse and then she goes and says she's made amends with her father and looks at porn that "triggers" her and then everything is all hunky-dory it just doesn't make any sense. Even then, some of the acts she describes that transpired are a bit far-fetched, like forcing a 12 year old to use a strap on? That seems a bit sketchy at best. Considering Volts has been known to stretch the truth a little bit, the alleged abuse could've happened, but nowhere near the scale that she describes.

Also that's a disturbing amount of detail to go into, Volts.

IIRC she either said it a few times when I was in a Skype call with her a while back, or she put it on that one thing she sent to that CSA survivor blog. I don't have raw evidence unfortunately so you're welcome to take my claims with a grain of salt.
 
Wait, is her father the "pre-op trans woman" in the story, or is she claiming to have been sexually abused by two people?
Seeing her try and stick up for her dad is really sad. As much as I'd like to believe what she's saying, I just get major Stockholm Syndrome vibes every time she talks about him.

Which if true, is honestly more sad than anything else to me really, especially with the justification of why therapy would be harmful. I guess it's better to live life being triggered by literally everything and tell people to kill themselves when you get offended because feel syndrome.
