Yanno thanks to half the current generation getting "top surgery" to live authentically as gender specials, at this point I'm starting to consider reconstruction. I don't want mastectomy to be normalized to the point where people I assume I'm just a late blooming (70+) pooner rather than an old and cranky cancer survivor.
Oh, and for any pooners who come at me for gatekeeping mastectomies, no you never get the sensation back, erotic or otherwise. Enjoy your numb flabby chests with their scars, dog ears, puckers and dead, necrosed nipples. Mine turned out smooth and flat with barely visible scars because I followed the pathologist's heartfelt recommendation and went to one of the best oncoplastic breast surgeons in the country (who happend to practice right here in my city), rather than Dr Teet Yeeter in whatever state still hasn't yanked her license.
