I don't hang out in this thread too much so I'm a little late, but holy shit I can't believe I'm considering dropping that much cash for this. Predaking is my all time favorite combiner and some of the coolest of the later 1st gen toys. I still regret selling my complete set I bought off Ebay in '99 that thing was in mint condition too. I dunno kiwi's what do you think should I buy it?

My two cents is that if you don't burn your money on a item with zero merit to you, i think it's worth it. Also assuming you don't continuously spend your money on things with miniscule meaning to you, but that's besides the point. Personally, i will buy this figure since he's reminiscent of the StudioOx/Call of the Primitives appearance which also happens to be my favorite episode of G1. I have nothing relating to the G1 predacons/Predaking and usually i favor Decepticons over Autobots. Alternatively, you could potentially wait for a 4th party knockoff, but i'm not sure if it will happen with the subset of Adamas Machina figures, not to mention the plausibly inferior quality

Coming back to this, I finally got the chance to ask my dad about it. Turns out he knew exactly what I was talking about and confirmed it was definitely a P38. I say was, because the storage unit got robbed not long after and he lost it and many other collectibles he had at the time. :(
 
finaly got both parts of skytread and flywheels.
with the doubles i could make skywheels.
