I'm getting cancelations from Amazon, Walmart and a few online toyshops too. It's getting annoying.
Depends on the art.
3p stuff tends to come with Styrofoam so it's great for that. As do some special Takara/ Hasbro stuff.

he's fucking beautiful and reminds me of what you could do with the minicons back in the day mixed with the various cool weird combiners they used to pump out every other year before combiner wars happened and then legacy decided combiners should just be trailers you plug other characters into instead of combining them. Menasor was the only one that made sense for given his cartoon model they were basing it on was that.
It looks great what the fuck are you on about? The price and availability will be ass though for sure. I wish they released the two missing ones by themselves because I have all 3 of the ones that came out a while back. g2"Shadowstrip" , breakdown, and dead end.
Hoping this set fixes dead end's QC issue with his legs not tabbing in.

A lot of the G2 color schemes are ridiculous and gaudy and that's why I love them, I wish the original designs we got nowadays were more vibrant, and not as drab/bland as most of the 13 primes have turned out. Hopefully the G2 Menasor set won't be too awfully priced, and hopefully Takara will make the other G2 combiners down the line.

I really like how the box set dragstrip seems to add back in the blue the velocitron one was missing outside his head. All the g2 menasor bots sharing some form of blue highlight really makes them work together in a similar way to how g2 bruticus' purple camo on all of the limbs and torso did.
G2 figure colors, especially the homage ones from the last decade or so now, have a really kind of comic book-ish punchy feeling to them. Like if someone took the more oddly colored transformers marvel comics panels and made them into figures. IIRC outside megatron and sideswipe the g2 plotline of the marvel transformers comics all used their g1 designs. At least that's how I remember looking over em. No laser prime, just g1 optimus who WAS released in g2 as well but you get me.
Once again I could be misremembering things but I'm pretty sure I'm kinda right. Image search results all seem to confirm my memory.

pre ordering the box set is over 300 so yeah never gonna afford that that's even more than the g1 menasor box set I missed out on fucking price hikes fuck em kill em

First time I watched anything Transformers related was with Armada, still think that was the best version of Starscream.

G1 starscream gets a lot of shit from other characters (especially megatron) in g1 and you can 100% just see why they all fucking hate him he's a dick and they gotta put him in the retard cage or an equivalent of it once or twice. Also shit you also reminded me I never got around to taking photos of the super mode armada starscream I got from someone used for a non scalper price a while ago. Or maybe I did and forgot idk. Anyways yeah gotta do that sometime!

yes but if it's humans vs. transformers it'd add to it to have the decepticons actually blend into the environment somewhat making it a kind of game of "they could be fucking anywhere". Like having npc cars that are just normal cars and then player cars that are actually the decepticons type of stuff. Vehicle mode would be a good way to get the drop on people but also would put you at a disadvantage in terms of mobility making you a sitting duck to anyone who nootices you're not a normal npc car.

Only looking forward to that Guzzle and the Machine Wars Starscream. If they don't do Skyquake I'll have to paint one myself. I know they wont do King Atlas so I'll have to do that.
