I believe he was trying to get her to aplogize for saying the word "tranny" earlier at the event. At least that is what the news articles say. If it was some shitlib family it might be different, but with a Christian/conservative family we know perfectly well what would happen. Everyone would point at the tranny, gossip amongst themselves, shake their heads and in every way take attention away from the poor bride and groom.
It’s so perfectly reasonable to ask him to come NOT as a tranny, that it’s almost baffling how he’d think it was ever an option.
