It's so arbitrary. Same thing is happening to autism where some people are saying "autist" is ableist. Autists will happily call themselves autists because that's a good descriptor, nobody is denying that autists are more than their autism. Amputees call themselves amputees. Postoptranswomen should call themselves that, they technically are.

This mindset is so asinine when dating even about smaller subjects than being a tranny. You should be open and honest about any controversial subjects that are really important to you when dating or you won't find the right person. If you're a tranny and they need told then tell them right away or you're just going to get too involved and waste your time and probably feel shitty. Same with any other subject that you or the other person may not want in a long term partner. All these conservative gun owners i see who date these liberal antigun women and think they can change them and they can't and just end up with a wife or GF who fucking hates an aspect of them and something they enjoy doing.

Maybe it's just my success. I met my wife being open about things other people generally hate or dislike and that's why she liked me and we started talking. You may get a smaller dating pool but at least you're not going to have to worry about "what happens when they finally learn I like or do x y z"

It's the whole 'coloured people/people of colour' thing, basically.

Both phrases mean the exact same thing and communicate the selfsame information about a person, it's just that if these people didn't have anything to complain about then they wouldn't have any reason to exist at all. 'People of colour' will become racist and be replaced by something equally arbitrary within the next 3-4 years at the current rate.

There's a trend - that I sure hope goes away with DEI - of using "person-first" language as a way of. . . Idk communicating that people are people first? I never really got it, but it's why you see "person of color" and "person experiencing homelessness" or "person living with Autism." It's just more lefty language policing shit and is exhausting.

'Transwoman' is transphobic because it's a noun, in the same way that 'woman' is a noun. Thus it draws a separation between women and transwomen, automatically implying that transwomen are something other than women. 'Trans woman' is a noun modified by an adjective, much like 'tall woman', 'fat woman' or 'black woman'.

Of course, the only women who are capable of being trans women are the ones who started off male. I use 'transwoman' in left-leaning spaces, because I'm not looking to start chimpouts (if I discuss trans stuff elsewhere I engage in zero trolling - I'm looking to get people to consider reality from a slightly different perspective, not rile them up by yelling 'tranny tranny tranny'). It's not being directly rude, most trans people/allies won't call you out or push you on it, but they are aware that while I'm happy to discuss the issue civilliy I'm not going to be pushed into the doublethink that 'trans woman' implicitly requires you to express.

This makes me so mad as a veteran, but I'll focus on the relevant stuff:

Men's hair must be kept shorter than women's. Women are only allowed to wear makeup in uniform if it's "natural" looking and in good taste. Women's hair standards are looser than the men, but it must either be short, or be tied back. It's a tradition and safety thing. Men can't grow beards and must shave before work. If they have a shaving waver (usually if you're black or Jewish), it still must be trimmed regularly.

What the fuck is he planning to do that he can't currently do? Plaster on makeup?? They will get his ass if he covers himself in red lipstick and day glo eyeshadow.

Slutty looks are banned for the women, and troons are not known for having conservative makeup taste.

I wish I was better at finding stuff on Reddit. After all of Trump's recent executive orders, I just know there's gotta be some recent posts somewhere about trannies getting straight up denied obgyn appointments, being told they're dudes and that gynecologists are only for vaginal health, not axe wounds. Maybe even a story from a pooner having their rotdog invalidated during a physical.
