However, I finding that almost 2 months in, other parents' support of me has wained. My daughters have been stood up for multiple play dates.
So self absorbed and intent on playing the victim that she can’t even stop for a second to think about other potential causes of being busy. I don’t have any kids but even I know that, if the time stamp of 17 hours ago is pretty accurate, two months ago would have occurred at the end of summer and right around the time school is starting back up for kids. It very well could be that the cancelled play dates are simply a result of the other families no longer having the same amount of free time that they had in the summer.
While I assume ‘stood up’ in this context just means the other parents declined to schedule a play date, even if they did really forget about one and didn’t show up, it’s more likely because of the busyness of adjusting to being back in school than it is any actual transphobic malice.
I still prefer the pooner’s perspective of the other parents’ respectfully ‘grey rock’-ing her though. Slowly back aware from the crazy pooner and maybe she won’t eat our children.
