The fact that his "bottom dysphoria is gone" is bewildering. Sure he doesn't have a dick anymore, but he doesn't have female genitals by any metric. He has a tangled mess of mutilated nerves and scar tissue, and it's completely non functional, not to mention agonising and trying very hard to kill him. If I suffered some kind of bizarre injury that destroyed my genitals, and I was told that I could either have the... thing... that he has, or a miracle procedure that would perfectly replace my genitals with that of the opposite sex, I'd take the replacement because functional and pain free is vastly preferable to dying slowly of sepsis and urine retention. How can he look down at his rotting, horrific wound that in no way resembles what it's supposed to be and say, "This is better than having a dick?"

Make it make sense.
Many troons have reported that after castrating themselves their sex drive decreases dramatically, also leading to a decrease in their dysphoria (read: paraphilia)

That’s what bothers me. Call me a bleeding heart or whatever but I do still feel empathy for them. It’s called “informed consent“ and they don’t inform them about shit. I’ve seen a ton of females on testosterone say they had no idea that it could cause vaginal atrophy and that was after the “informed consent” This is so much worse.
The lack of informed consent may also be due to them choosing the cheapest and fastest chop-shop in the Philippines to perform the ditch installation.

I have finally seen the true equivalent of an FTM rotdog - a wrist nerve clit! I mean, their original "clit" is already nothing like the real thing, but at least it's made out of their genitals and you could optimistically assume it would provide some sexual sensation (lol), but that is the same level as attaching some arm skin and think it will function totally the same way as natal genitalia. I have never heard of this procedure, is it actually a thing (do women need replacement clits?? I know there are legit procedures for vaginoplasties on women with MRKH syndrome for example) or something random that SRS butchers thought up?

Those other cock chop doctors require hair removal for a reason. It drastically cuts down on how many clumps of hair and congealed rotting flesh fall out of it. It's like rushing into my garage because I offer a five minute cock chop with no requirements other than cash up front. No you don't need anaesthesia, my technique is very quick and will only sting for a minute, sure you can dilate the wound if you want to, I don't give a fuck, now lay down on this plastic sheet while I pour some petrol into my chainsaw.

Everyone knows pussies cough up hairballs, it's very gender-affirming.

Troons are very set on suppressing any information about potential complications too. None of this info is allowed to be posted on reddit, facebook, etc. Any members in their support group that expresses dissent are immediate booted. It is hard to get accurate information about the dangers of trooning out.

The other problem is that they want to believe. It’s like everything about transition. Their dreams are demonstrably unattainable, but they want to be lied to because they don’t want to give up on the notion that they can become the woman of their AGP fantasies.
By “I tell them that my anatomy is weird and that it’s not going to work” does he mean he didn’t find it pertinent to disclose that he has a fucking axewound? And even then, he doesn’t provide a clear explanation of what he means, he just says “my anatomy is weird” as if it’s just his urethra being a little wonky or something. On top of all that he has the gall to complain about lack of care and urgency from the staff. Maybe if you explained to them what’s actually going on they’d treat you better, you fucking retard.

Dude deserves this pain. The only people I feel sorry for are his family, and the American taxpayers and medical professionals whose resources he’s gonna drain.
I feel sorry for ER staff when a troon hobbles through the door. There could be anything down there.

I look at it as akin to Maslow’s heirarchy of needs.

When you are starving to death, you’re not that worried about other less immediate needs. When you’re experiencing pain, infection, kidney and urinary issues etc. the “dysphoria” disappears because that is a social or self-esteem thing. The most basic physiological needs take priority, and when your body is hacked to pieces the emotional and social needs are inconsequential.

We’ve seen time and time again that when the surgery is a “success” and they don’t have open wounds, infections, ongoing medical crises, the dysphoria creeps back in. That’s when their new genitals aren’t good enough - they want a deeper canal, or a better-looking labia, or a bigger clitoral hood, or less scarring. Or the focus becomes more on other aspects - facial surgery, widening hips etc.

I feel bad bc I try to highlight the positive experiences about my transness here on this subreddit, I just really need to voice this.

Here goes:

It doesn’t take long for one person with a really bad opinion on trans women (in this case) to come along, (i.e. saying that femininity is “not a costume”, that trans women are mean and invading spaces, and that we are actually homophobes). Then people start nodding their heads in silent agreement or have their own two cents. Like fuck’s sake man I just can’t help but feel unwelcome in spaces like that.

And it feels bad man like we’re not supposed to tear each other down. We’re all queer and in the same fight together. Division is a tool of the oppressors and we’re over here doing it on our own. So freakin done bro.
30 comments of varying quality so far, but all pretty much agree it's a big problem. 8)

Femininity is not a costume. -- Great line, whoever you are who said it.

I assumed this doctor was doing the bowel harvest vagina, and that's why he didn't need the ballsack hair removed?

Well, he doesn't anymore... ✂️:eggplant:
considering they’re all incorrigible perverts I guess you are right, he probably wasn’t using that hand for anything else.

The ones who do are probably the least able to get access to a procedure (ie they’re FGM victims). So the potential use case for this in natal women seems really niche.

Some surgeons claim to be able to scrape the hair follicles out during the dick flay, but all the troons still end up with hairy man caves. One troon in the SRS thread told reddit he was just plucking the ones he could reach every few weeks until he could find a gyno to do it for him :story: he really thought men and women who study for the care of the female reproductive system were there to perform hair removal services for the affirmation of porn sick men

Can any medfags explain why this is? I've seen it used so much with troon shit that's it's become synonymous in my head with "not informed", but what's it supposed to be? Is it only "gender science" where it means the opposite of what it sounds like or is it always pretty much a hand waving form like a terms of service?

There are a couple of likely explanations to why they don’t know what to expect. (I’m not practicing in Burgerland but informed consent knows no boundaries ya know, so I think this applies).
1). They have been informed, in writing, verbally, it was read to them backwards while they were sleeping, the info was tattooed into their retinas - but they only heard what they wanted to hear. You’d be surprised how common this is. Don’t blame the doctor who took the time to record that subliminal message.
2. Same, but they didn’t understand what was said. That’s on the doctor. A good practitioner always asks the patient to explain back to you what was said during the consultation.
3). The consent form, in 2 points cursive comic sans, was the only info they got, and they didn’t read it, just signed it. Bad form from everybody, but probably legal? Again, not a burger.

Sorry, the ambien is kicking in so this is all I’ve got.

I think there’s probably some magical thinking going on in the patients’ mind. They either think they’re going to be super lucky, and none of the scary things talked about in the IC process will occur, or they heard through the trans grapevine that X potential complication is really super rare, no regrets, lifesaving care, etc., so the risk-benefit assessment gets all skewed in their minds in favor of getting the surgery. And they also think the grass is greener post op, that it’s really just this lack of surgery holding them back from total gender euphoria, etc., so then they fixate on gender care being the only possible solution to their problems which cannot possibly improve any other way.
