The NHS will cover one genital surgery (that includes castration, so UK trans people can't get the snip and then later get the amhole) and then will (generally) cover one revision surgery - but they'll only cover the revision if they judge there's something significantly wrong, they won't cover it for cosmetic reasons or general dissatisfaction.

Unfortunately Dr Bellringer is one of the main experts and consequently, as arguably the most experienced GRS surgeon in the UK, he's fireproof and so does not give a fuck - according to a complaint put in with the General Medical Council, upon being told by a patient the neovagina was constricted and insufficiently girthy for penetrative sex, his reply to the patient was "what do you want to do, fuck a horse?".

No, £30k is the price the London Transgender Clinic cites for a colovaginoplasty. The NHS absolutely wouldn't cover someone getting a colovaginoplasty after getting a penile inversion, because it classes them as two separate surgeries. Sure enough, if we dig through this guy's comments enough:

He's already had a revision surgery that his parents paid for (£15k?) plus another £15k worth of additional trans related healthcare (he mentions hair removal at one point). He didn't bother dilating and his main issues are tightness and discharge, but he also finds douching too gross and just wants a magical squeaky clean vagina that is indistinguishable from a real one and requires no douching or dilating, so he thinks a PPV will achieve that. There is no way the NHS would touch that with a bargepole, he's on his own now.

It's a pretty bleak L on this one. He seemingly suffers from depression and OCD. His "egg cracked" during the 2020 lockdown when he was 18, and he started "girlmoding" straight away. In 2022 he had amhole surgery, which does seem like it was on the NHS. It's bizarre when the ongoing complaint is the excessive waiting times, yet someone like this can make a permanent life altering decision and mangle his genitals within 2 years.

Sounds like this guy is extremely immature and maybe mildly autistic and was groomed online during lockdown. Reading through the comments he seemed to genuinely think he'd get a real vagina rather than a sweaty hole that he has to constantly wash and dilate. He says he thought he'd only have to dilate and "at first". How is operating on such an uninformed patient even remotely ethical?

And the other commenters are still egging him on. "Eventually you get to just live as a girl." Yep, the next surgery will surely fix everything. Keep trusting the plan!

Yes hello guys I have type 2 diabetes, no im not going to change my diet and I can't be bothered with injecting insulin more than once a week tbh. As a side note I get a real tickle out of serious people being made to repeat crazy shit like this person dealing with official complaints or court people being forced to read out the litany of slurs someone used :story:

Nothing changes the fact that these people are XXL mongoloids who should've done basic research even if nobody actively informed them of anything, that said if these people are to be believed I've gotten better informed consent when it comes to mild antibiotics and a wisdom tooth removal than these niggers got prior to being made eunuchs :lossmanjack:

I feel fake 😔​

General Question

Hey, fam. I'm 50, mtf, 5 months on E. I feel like my ways are so ingrained and conditioned after decades that it's extremely difficult to shake off the persona and identity that I've been projecting my entire life.
I absolutely adore living as a woman, but I can't help but feel like I'm pretending. I also get big euphoria being correctly named and gendered (which only happens with my doctors and therapists for now) but I really struggle getting past the whole conflict of not accepting myself as a woman and I'm sure it has a lot to do with my realization coming so late.

It's really discouraging to find myself relating to hurtful things that transphobes say like, "You'll never be a real woman" , etc.

I know that I'm trans 100%. But sometimes I just feel hopeless that I'll always be stuck in the I should've been a woman, but I'm not. And the best I can do is dress like one kind of mentality. I just don't feel authentic, and that really upsets me greatly.

Do any of you relate? If so, how do you cope?

It seems to me like the ignorance most Troons have defies the idea that this is "informed consent."
The butchers doing this can't be explaining it to them, or they're not listening.
Personally I think the SRS thread or something like it should have to be required reading before they can consent, although again, anyone crazy enough to consent to this shit is too fucked in the head to be capable of consent.
