The troon movement's thoughts on gender have always been funny to me. While they're not wrong that gender stereotypes are socially constructed depending on culture (i.e - what's feminine in America will be different in India or Ghana), these idiots never bring up that sex and gender are intertwined. Every other "third gender" is just a category to categorize anyone (usually effeminate gay men) who doesn't fit in their culture's perceptions of a female or male. Look at the Hijra, the Fa'afafine, the Bakla or Travesti. There is no widely accepted "gender" category that doesn't draw back to male or female. Even non-binary is the ridiculous idea of saying you're "not" a man or woman.

Troons ironically enforce gender stereotypes since any man who says they "feel" like a "woman" or vice versa is usually doing so because of stereotypes and vague "feelings". So many trannies have the same story about they're a boy who played with dolls or a girl who didn't like makeup. Look at Jazz Jennings / Jaron.
