I find it really absurd how trans culture has normalized posting really disgusting pictures such as this and going into great detail about your bathroom activities and sex life. Oh and surgery. Who else would wipe their ass, see blood, and immediately think to take a picture and post it on Reddit? Why do these idiots think Reddit is anonymous, too? Utterly alien behavior.

Not to sound ignorant or anything, but when I see posts like these it feels like the trans person in question is more concerned about their parents finding out because they don't want to be told to stop. Not even being punished or kicked out, the echo chamber seems to be worried that if the adults step in they've lost a member.

On privacy of health info of students generally:

Schools (yes, including teachers) can come within the scope of HIPAA if there is medical care there (nurse's office). However, most health info about a student is considered part of the educational record, and so is covered by FERPA, not HIPAA. FERPA is stricter vs disclosure to third parties, only separates right of children vs their parents at 18 (or under 18 if at college), meaning that in most cases both parents and children have rights to information in educational records (and to protect them from 3rd parties).

Couple adds:
  • FERPA doesn't apply to private schools
  • FERPA doesn't give kids rights their parents don't also have (generally)
FERPA (or HIPAA, for that matter) is not the end of the discussion, however:
  • the question of what is disclosable or disclosed Re sex and gender matters is a hot one
    • various litigation of different angles going on, from 14th Amendment to Title IX arguments, to state/local laws/policies. There's some precedent but not much yet
    • different localities have different policies. Policies don't have inherent legal force, but then you are in the position of accepting their policy (if they hold to it) or litigate it
  • The below is from 2022 and I don't know the latest outcomes, if any, in courts (for all I know a lot might have happened since), but it's a good overview of sratus/arguments on the question:
 
The thing that gets me about gender affirming schools/teachers and that one post about giving students haircuts is this: there are mothers that control their daughters through their hair. I read a story (on reddit asklegal i think) about a mother who wanted to sue a barbershop cause they cut her daughters hair. My mother was like that. I know for a fact she would have sued the entire county system if she needed to in order to keep my hair long. I almost wish i could have recorded her face when i cut my hair off lol. But, its a tactic to control kids by controlling their fashion choices, including their hair. Im almost convinced that if the mother is a narc, she would see it as a personal attack. (more like an attack on their property)
 
Whilst perusing Xitter earlier I noticed that the hashtag "TranswomenAreConMen" and "LGBWithouttheT" were listed as trending. I don't ever interact with anything relating to this topic on Xitter so I don't think it's an algorithm thing. What the fuck was happening on Xitter today? Lmfao.

Maybe. I've had bad GI cramps before but I didn't have to lie about my gender to get treatment.

Also, way to be a sissy and not take some midol and toughen up sister. Oh wait, wrong meds. Either way I think this troon wanted to validate that he was a girl after all because he had a 'period' or he was a hermaphrodite (extremely rare but you know troon logic). But he got fucked and sent home.

Always with the DRAVO. He is the narcissist copying his sister, so of course they'd say she is a narcissist who copies him. I'm sure there is much more to this than what the OP said. If she was actually copying him he would have pointed out that he was doing them first. It's a simple and obvious defense if it's true. But no, he gives a pathetic "hehe we just like some of the same things hehe".

I'm not a woman and I don't have a sister (and I certainly don't have any style), but I suspect that real women make sure to not ape their sister's look, even if they like it. And if they do decide to imitate them they would make sure to work together and coordinate as a basic sign of respect (and to show that you aren't "Single White Female"-ing them).
