Sisters will swap clothes, and the younger ones will swipe stuff, but no, they don’t skinwalk each other usually. @evil anvil is right: there is way more going on here than tee-hee we like the same stuff. „They got her whatever she wanted” according to the brother, so why is she bitching. Her parents’ attention during her teenage years was monopolised by her older brother’s drama, that’s why. They just gave her shit because that’s the easy option. And of course she, like many family members, aren’t allowed to complain in the family because we have to be supportive, and can’t outside because transphobia. Thank God her grandparents are there for her.
 
Sisters in their earlier years might have this squabble, and it can be more or less true depending on the situation. Often a younger sibling will look up to an emulate an older one, especially when it comes to learning things like hair and beauty. The troon's story is immediately suspect however, and not just because troons have a roughly 100% track record for being attention seeking skinwalkers. As always, it's the things a narc DOESN'T draw attention to that tells you the true story.

The fact it's the the YOUNGER sister is bringing this up and she's doing it as an adult indicates it's not basic sibling things. Given the sister has grown up for years in a troon friendly house and only decides to go full no contact no indicates it's a pattern of significant boundary crossing that's she's only come to recognise as a young adult with some life perspective. It's also super weird to imagine the grandparents being active in the family life and only randomly deciding to go anti tranny NOW. I can't imagine a scenario of two older people Ok with their grandkids going through hormones and surgery as children and only now deciding to turn on an adult TiM because of a spat with the sister.

Even without stupid troon shit. It can be difficult between siblings of similar age. The older child is always doing more important exams, making bigger life choices, etc. My sibling got really upset when stressed about some exams, cos my parents attention was on me with the exams that would determine my degree. It goes the other way at times too, when the younger sibling is still living it up going to the park and shit while you have to go to school

There are infinite ways siblings can end up in rivalries, and similarly even well meaning, involved parents can inadvertently fuck up. It sounds like these siblings got on pretty well, but I strongly suspect that it wouldn't sound like that if we got the sisters input on them growing up.

The fact the parents paid for his surgeries probably also really stings, unless the parents put the same amount of money aside for the sister and it didn't impact things like college tuition funds. Siblings will fight over who gets more cream on their dessert, a huge chunk of cash to one is potentially explosive.

Completely agree. Wouldn't surprise me if the sister had been forced to tolerate stuff at home due to parental pressure, and is now just not having it anymore.

Who would have thought making your entire family lie and coddle you for over a decade would cause a rift eventually?

I'm actually in disbelief someone can be this socially inept that even fastfood joints don't want them with some of the service I've witnessed in the past 10 years.

Also making friends is so easy if you have at least one hobby, these dumb fucks always make it sound impossible but hide how they're actually just insufferable to be around.

They probably got emotionally blackmailed with "do you want a trans grandchild or a dead one?" Seeing how the parents bankrolled the whole transition they obviously drank the kool-aid and sister was young enough she simply didn't know any better, so the whole family was unified in support of the troon. The grandparents were probably afraid of being branded as transphobes and cut off from the one grandchild they still have that's not a fuckup. But after getting some life experience, the sister realized that her brother is a gross sex pest skin walking her, which peaked her hard and grandparents saw the opportunity to both support her and voice their opposition to the tranny.
