Kinda surprised no one had posted this yet (but glad as I'm in arrears with thread tax).

A group of poony-boppers and womenchildren get together to list (and bitch and moan) about all the ways things are so unfair about having XX chromosomes at the 23d pair.

Natürlich, menstruation and tits (aka "chest balls" lol) top the list.

Now, this one kinda pissed me off. Our li'l dood here thinks that men's and women's mental health issues are just the same and is annoyed being told that she'll never understand BECAUSE SHE IS A WOMAN!

But here's the coup de grace and a level of self-loathing that's really rather remarkable. What's unfair to pooners about being born girls?

It's fine for Pooners to acknowledge that there are huge physiological differences between the sexes as part of their poor-me whingefest/real boi bonding sessions, but got forbid a gender critic point out same. Then it's GENOCIDE.

What the fuck does she mean by inevitable knee pain? She fat?

Women have biological differences between them and men, but they're not inferior. It's like saying your spoon is inferior to your knife at cutting: no shit, that's not what it's built for. It CAN do some of that, but spoons were made for lifting objects, including the tricky liquids knives can't even touch. Men get shorter lifespans from war and testosterone fueled stupid choices. Women usually have better immune systems and are much better at enduance. We can complain about the hand we are dealt, but we still have to play it as best we can if you catch my drift. Usually pooners like this hate their body due to a lack of control over it: horrible periods, awful puberty, medical problems that may or may not be related to their reproductive organs, abuse mentally/physically related to eating or sexually, etc. Not all of us have that same experience of hating out bodies that hard, and even those who do can climb into a better mindset about it. Not being able to be strong and always panicking you're the weakest is some hard anxiety and or abused mentality type shit - women have other resources like friends, words, smarts, and weapons (for extreme cases) to protect ourselves. It's hard for pooners like this to relate to normal people because their brain is on terrified overdrive with an elevated fear response and those with a low one confused as fuck over it, and it's hard to get people like that to come down without them going into proper therapy and more importantly recognizing they have a problem with it.

Sucks man. What was I saying? Oh yeah, stop being fat and walk more, take your vitamins, and make peace with your body. You can do great things and get respect, but you have to develop those skills, dismantle the narrow way of thinking you trapped yourself in (e.g. "I am only safe/valuable human if I can beat someone in a fight, nothing else matters" and "I can only be free if I appear like a man"), and allow yourself to feel it instead of blocking it. This actually goes for males who hate their bodies too.

:story: I can't tell if I'm annoyed or chucking more. She's too goddamn young to make definitive statements like that on behalf of all women, she needs to go do her homework and join some clubs. Go outside. See a therapist.

Wow, imagine using bog standard headphones instead of cheap bluetooth. If youre gonna take the time to use a converter for ear buds, get good ones. Jeez kids these days. I bet theyre not even tipped earbuds, just crappy hang on ear apple style. No noise cancellation.

I got top surgery recently. Today I decided to try on shirts that I wouldn't have been able to wear before.

One shirt in particular really hugged my figure. I felt uncomfortable. I immediately noticed the way it accentuated my large hips. Only my first thought wasn't "I don't like my hips" or "these hips don't feel correct on my body". My first thought was "Oh God, if I wear this people will see me as a woman."

It had nothing to do with my body at all. It was about people's perseption of me.

I don't know what to think. I want to be above all that, you know? I should just be able to dress how I want.

What does one do about dysphoria that has nothing to do with them at all?

Male or female your body will be completely worn out if you make it past 80 anyway, all they get is a few more years of rotting on the couch watching metv. My great grandpa was too weak to even go fishing for the last 20 years of his life. Sitting in a chair with a pole in your hand is too much for someone that old. I wouldnt want to live that long unless they figure out anti aging tech so you can have the body of a 65 year old when you die at 95.

Do I just give up?​

So, almost a year ago I got out of an incredibly abusive relationship. I have been trying to seek support since then but because I'm a trans woman, I've just hit brick walls.

DV services just telling me "no" and "we only support biological women" And honestly after going through this loop for a whole year, I'm totally burnt out.

GALOP has told me to stop calling. Refuge has hung up on me multiple times or cited that they "support women, not your situation."

I've asked on reddit, discord servers and elsewhere about alternatives. Even a peer support group that allows us to join.

Nothing. Always nothing.

I'm now at a point of not being able to have the energy to keep looking. It simply drains me too much. However the alternative is that I give up, accept defeat and accept that I will always be broken. Accept that because of the country we live in, a trans woman can't seek help about this awful topic.

I'm aware of Loving Me, but I don't live in the area they support. I also can't afford private care because gender-affirming care is so pricy to begin with. Plus I've had horrible experiences with therapists anyway.

All I’m aware of that's National is an org that supports men, and indeed includes trans men and even non-binary folk but not trans women called Survivors UK.

I don't know where I realistically go from here. The non-stop searching for, a year has burnt me out completely but I don't know if throwing in the towel is worse.

Whatever could GALOP be? According to its website, „We support LGBT+ people who have experienced abuse and violence”. Pretty much every post from this man is a whinge about how rejected and lonely he feels, plus he says the original UK version of The Office wasn’t funny. Even the troon-friendly charity for abused troons is sick of him, and no wonder. :wow:

That's literally what dysphoria is, lmfao. The self awareness of realising that all it is is being scared people will see her as a woman then immediately going BUT THAT'S NOT WHAT DYSPHORIA IS THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH ME
