How can they even qualify as a demographic that is able to be genocided? Transgenderism isn't an innate, immutable visible characteristic like race or sex. Sexual orientation technically counts, but you can't tell if someone is homosexual by looking at them most of the time. You could argue that transgenderism is more of a lifestyle of belief like religion is and members of religions can and do get genocided, but comparing gender ideology to religion opens the largest, stinkest can of worms there's ever been.

A lot of people shit on those kinds of posts back in the day, but it's really hard to deny they were wrong, especially now. I wish more people had listened when they still had a lot of time to get out of the US - or at least prepare to get out of the US - if at all possible.

The good news is that time hasn't run out yet.

The bad news is that it could run out very, very soon. Without warning, even.

I hope people are exhausting all of their options - student visas, the DAFT visa, Hail Mary asylum claims, etc - and not just deciding it's impossible without doing their due diligence. I can't stress enough that you really don't have to be rich to make this kind of move happen. Most people who claim asylum in other countries, for example, are completely broke and have zero material possessions. Their journeys often thoroughly suck and their lives are hard after they arrive, but many eventually make things happen in their new countries.

(I would look into Canada for asylum rn and watch the EU really closely. I'm just sayin'. Canada's looking mighty accommodating for people waiting to have their day in court and they're acting like they might soon retract the Safe Country designation, at least for queer people. Hint hint nudge nudge.)

Here's an answer apparently from Canada.
Right now the “safe third country” stuff means that Canada will straight up deny asylum claims at the border for American citizens. I hope they fix that but until they do, it’s not a viable strategy.

However, if you somehow found yourself on vacation in Canada and filed a claim while already in the country - that’s a different process entirely and it has to go through the courts and such before you can be deported.

Still not a great option because while you’re in limbo you can’t legally work, and being an undocumented immigrant has a whole host of challenges / safety risks - but it could be weighed against the risks of staying, depending on how things get.

We don’t have ICE up here. At least while we’re still our own sovereign country

My sister (12 f) doesn't believe that I (ftm teen) am actually a Trans man. I have always been really into girly things and when I came out, at 11, my mom asked why I couldn't just be a tomboy.

Honestly, I feel like gender expression and identity are very different and unrelated for me. To me, I just feel like a gay man who likes to wear skirts and present feminine sometimes.

I pass decently at school and I only get clocked when I'm dead named. I wear makeup and wear dresses at home sometimes and my sister asked if I was gender fluid. I said that I wasn't and she got somewhat upset. She said that she didn't think that men could dress like I do or do the things I do. I shrugged it off but it words hurt and it got under my skin.

Another time, she brought up one of her friends and said they were a trans masc and they dressed feminine. She said she didn't understand why anyone would transition to a man but still dress like a woman or want to be a femboy. I tried to explain that its similar to how a cis man might want to be a femboy but not want to be a trans woman. She just can't seem to understand the concept.

I don't know what to do at this point. I feel kind of stuck. I usually try not to let silly opinions get to me, because im living my life, not anyone else. However, I feel like my family are one of the few people who can actually get to me. I just want to explain to her so she can better understand and stop bringing it up and questioning me.
