But the intersex community also seems to produce a disproportionate number of troons. edit : After a quick search, less than 500 cases of the intersex condition the troon described are known, and finding out in adolescence is so uncommon they get case reports out of it.

Lol you should read the entirety of the DSM-V. Almost every psychiatric illness and personality disorder in there has specific guidelines on how to separate those who are truly mentally ill and those who are just faking it for attention. Ambiguous genitalia is seen as an “in-between sex”, and it used to validate “in-between genders”. Most of the time, the genitalia is changed to look male or female.

I remember years ago seeing a fundraiser for two Nepalese boys who were born with ambiguous genitalia. Both of them had urethras which didn’t form properly, and so both had urinary incontinence. They were shunned from society because they smelled like urine, and the fundraiser was to pay for surgery for them. I don’t know what happened to the fundraiser, but I hope they are okay now.

But these are the stories I wish that people like Pidgeon Pagonis would bring awareness to, instead of advertising shirts saying “too cute to be binary”. And when intersex activists say things like “End Intersex Surgery”, it comes across as myopic. They don’t realize that “genital diversity” isn’t normal, and is a birth defect.

There's a major thing that should be clarified about intersex conditions: they are nowhere near as common as red hair and if anyone tells you this they are either woefully misinformed or they are flat out lying.

Individuals with red hair make up 2% of the world's population. TRA Activists like to claim that intersex people make up 1.7% of the world's population. Pretty close to 2%, so their claim should hold some veracity, right?

Well, to nobody's surprise, that 1.7% number wasn't actually measured by the medical community, but was an arbitrary number thought up by a gender studies professor. She quotes that an intersex individual "deviates from the Platonic ideal of physical dimorphism at the chromosomal, genital, gonadal, or hormonal levels." This is incredibly vague, and intentionally so. By her definition, you could argue that a man with small reproductive organs and man-boobs is "intersex".

A pediatric physician later challenged her claims in 2002. He based intersex conditions off of the clinical definition of intersex, which are conditions where the chromosomal sex differentiates from the phenotypic sex. By his estimation, only 0.018% of the population are intersex, or; 1 in 5,500 births. There are slightly more liberal estimates by others in the medical community, however their estimates are still low, at about 1 in 2,500 births.

So if somebody comes up to you claiming they are intersex, they are most likely being deceitful. That, or they have been misled into believing they're intersex by TRA's. Being a masculine-looking woman or an effeminate-looking man does not mean one is intersex. It also does not mean that one has a brain that differs from their sex. There is no universal marker that differentiates men and women's brains in the human species. It's merely sexist claptrap being perpetuated by trannies and their handmaidens.

The science behind transgenderism is built on lies and dubious claims, so they scramble to anything that will validate them, no matter how awful it makes them look. It's disgusting these sick fetishistic freaks are co-opting a medical condition that can be detrimental to one's body. While at the end of the day they can take off their dresses and wigs, intersex people potentially have to live with their disfigurements for the rest of their lives.

Accurate, but the point is to avoid calling people defective when they have no control over it, were probably mutilated at birth and subject to a medicalized childhood, and are under attack from an army of troons looking to cash in on their plight for internet popularity points.

I'd consider this a particularly egregious display of tranny hubris that warrants its own thread. It's not just some faggot who uses Twitter too much, it's actively harming a legitimate cause. Imagine being someone like Cheryl Chase and having a doctor cut off your clit shortly after birth, precluding your ability to ever orgasm simply because it was bigger than usual, then spending years openly speaking about your institutionalized sexual abuse to a totally disinterested American Academy of Pediatrics, only to have some mentally ill attention whore come shit on everything because they're a woman with a deeper voice.

Intersex and troons are fundamentally opposed so this crossover is especially insane. The intersex generally want to be left alone and to not have their genitals cut off for being abnormal, while troons need to be the center of attention and want to cut off underage dicks to gratify a sexual fetish. I'd put intersex activists more in line with anti-circumcision activists than transgender activists.

Intersex people sometimes have gender dysphoria, and sometimes don't, but are usually mentally more normal than troons ever could be.

The documentary Intersexion is actually really interesting. It's made by and for their community and has some footage of meetups where the intact ones are hoping for a happy chat about all the crazy sex they've had, and the mutilated ones are raging about how some doctor butchered them to look "normal" and how they grew up getting constant surgeries without anyone ever telling them why.

There is no source but I believe that Griner does have 5-ARD because of the male puberty. XY CAIS people go through female puberty, but 5-ARD people go through male puberty.
