There is a person who uses the pseudonym "Marisa Kirisame" from Touhou and is doing a PhD in computer science at the University of Utah; the funniest part is that they're making contributions to Machine Learning.

Mostly, i'd say things in PC98 were forgettable but that may have been technical limitations, and like i said before anything past LOLK just falls off hard.

The website that used to host all Touhou games and a lot of fan games for free, moriyashrine.org, has gone down and now redirects to the official Touhou website (Same archive since it now redirects to that site). Apparently the website had this as its page on April 1st, but considering the current state it seems like it isn't a joke.

There's a rumor going around a rouge admin of the site basically destroyed the entire thing and made it look like it was bought out by ZUN. This is a real possibility considering there's no longer that notice and it now just straight redirects to Team Shanghai Alice's website.

That fucking sucks but people should realize by now that ZUN's legal team (or lawyer) is a hungry dickhead. your best best is to scout for torrents using torrent engines or searches. And it's not like it's hard to find.

Myrient had a really good Touhou pack with all the official games and a shit ton of fan content, but that's down now as well. I think a new site has reposted the content, you'll have to check the recent pages of the retro game thread for it if you want to have a look.
