I'm just waiting for SFO to update for Immortal Empires. Karl Franz shall establish a Ten Thousand Year Reich that goes from sea to shining sea across the breadth of the Old World, and the Gods shall reward him as they rewarded Sigmar.

Any of you guys multiplayer fags? I keep getting stomped by Slaanesh players in both Land and Domination battles. I've even tried out scumming them with Vampire Counts, but the Keeper of Secrets lord is just to fast and their spawn way over perform for their cost imo. With the faction lock system in place if you are stuck playing like Greenskins, or Skaven or Khorne against Slaanesh I really don't know how to deal with them. Any thoughts?
Definitely. Actually makes you choose things, especially when it comes to buildings since there's always tradeoffs. Also has a lot of nifty campaign and battle changes and adjustments that make it a lot more fun and balanced, IMO.
Yeah I figured, bought blood for the blood god and realized that it didn't work on Linux. I need to stop being a fucking weirdo and just move back over to windows.
The problem with all the non empire/brettonia human locations in Warhammer is that they don't fit the narrative of unending war vs. Chaos. No one ever interacts with them and they might has well never existed. Cathay is especially bad with their god emperor logically will try to organise resistance to chaos
Didn't Araby get smashed and ended as a relevant force after the brettonians crusaded the shit out of them? I do recall there being a mod for a kitbashed Araby army but in the campaign I think they're mostly wiped out or owned by Crusader States. Especially with Repanse de Mayonnaise and Vulkmar occupying the non-skellington areas.
Who knows though Cathay getting fleshed out means there's a chance for just about anything to get slapped in.

Araby invaded Estalia (aka fantasy Spain) doing the usual Muslim shit of enslaving everyone they captured, and after that realm asked for help a bunch of orders from both Bretonnia and the Empire showed up to smash Araby's face in, eventually taking the war to Araby itself and killing Sultan Jaffar. Yes, that's his actual name. Once upon a time GeeDubs could be based. Link.
Ironically the Bretonnians fucked off as soon as the Sultan was dead, with the Imperial knights sticking around a lot longer to make sure every last bit of his fuckery was trampled and burned and all of his slaves liberated. And then the Black Guard of Morr launched a Black Crusade (unrelated to anything Chaotic, actually) intent on wiping out the Tomb Kings of Khemri for being you know... undead.
Give Araby the same treatment as any other human factions and it could be fairly interesting. A few problems though :
Is finishing this faction worth the effort/price ? Same shit with Albion, Amazons, Nippon and the Naga/Tiger beastmen. We are a minority wanting to play them.
The fucking culture-war crowd. It might go very wrong for CA depending of HOW this new faction is implemented/redone/finished. If Arabia becomes too good and too clean it might leave a Political Correctness after-taste for many of us and if this is too grim-dark/edgy/grounded(based ?) like the rest of the human nations then this is the woke mob that GW and CA will have to deal with. I remember CA even said in the past that Arabia is a big no-no for them anyway(I dont have the link about it anymore, sorry :/)
Some more popular and important factions could benefit from getting more units and lords, so...
The Southlands are full of factions, one more here might NOT be a priority either.
From a gameplay stand-point we could have at least 1 or 2 desert tribes as hord factions(1 playable like in Attila), 2 or 3 independant caliphates(1 playable too) with the famous strange unit roster(Djinn, flying Carpets, Rope Singers, ships pushed by tamed elementals, giant war elephants, camel riders, etc.) and finaly the Bretonnian crusader states we already have.
