Nah, they don’t come off as being into women at all.
Wasn't Fantano married to a black woman (her only relevant-to-him trait besides consenting to his rodent-like touch) then was sugaring an OF ho, including (SFWish) pictures of them posted online? Both seem like they wouldn't differentiate between women and "women" though with their rabid tranny-supporting ideological zealotry.

Unintentional double post! Just watched A Dose of Buckley's Top 10 Worst of 2025 and he made a direct shot at Todd with respect to Doechii's Anxiety.
That was at 3:56 if it doesn't embed properly. Number one was a bit obvious tbh but not a bad list of terrible songs.

ETA: finally listening to the Todd/Fantano interview. He's so inarticulate without a script, I can see why he lets Dany dominate the conversation in the podcast. Um like yeah.

Finally got around to listening to this thing and making a summary. I'll put stuff as I watch, so it'll most likely be in the order of what they talk about, unless I go back and miss something (I may be missing some wording as I'm paraphrasing, apologies in advance):

-Todd's faceless gimmick came from when he was working as a public school teacher in a small town, and didn't want it following him, but he never got a full-time teaching gig, and after three years, Todd felt like making videos was his job.

-Todd used to wear gray hoodies all the time, but now he doesn't, only wearing them for his videos.

-Todd says he doesn't get recognized often, unless he's with other famous YouTubers, and even then, he usually doesn't get recognized unless those other YouTubers do (he mentions how some would go "Oh, and you must be Todd In The Shadows!). He says the only other time he's been recognized is at a Carly Rae Jepsen concert. Todd mentions how his face is out there and how someone must be a superfan to recognize him in a crowd and know what he looks like. He doesn't discourage people from finding out what he looks like, but he says it's nice to be able to live his life without people being weird about it.

-Todd considers his videos to have a low ceiling and a high floor, each video having roughly the same view counts, with the exception of the year-end videos.

-Todd isn't on TikTok and feels he wouldn't enjoy it.

-Todd feels that the fact that he hasn't chased trends or tried to self-promote has let him stay consistent. He doesn't really care for view count, and after three years, he felt that videos do what they do, and he doesn't think about a video once it's uploaded.

-Todd mentions that one of his biggest flaws is not having quick takes, in that he can't just listen to something and get on camera and share his thoughts. And if he does, if it's because it's really amazing or really terrible.

-Todd feels he found his level and that he wouldn't be good at giving hot takes where a review can be posted on Pitchfork ater a day or a first listen. Todd also doesn't feel he has long takes where video essayists would drill on something for a year or more. He feels good in the middle, after about a month of research. He's been willing to do more research than when he started. He mentions how he has a lot of books that he's read for research (some of which he has plans to read in the future) and mentions that's what he likes doing, and that's one way to get him to do an episode.

-There's some talk about Metallica and The Clash, and their respective episodes on Trainwreckerords.

-Todd mentions how a lot of the books he reads don't cover the low points of their subjects, and instead, they only cover the good parts.

-Todd feels he's still "the angry critic," but that's phased out, and his stuff has gotten more positive, and he just tries to be as honest as he can. He also feels that in the last few years, there's a backlash over how people are afraid to give bad reviews, especially to the upper echelon of music, such as Cowboy Carter and Life of a Showgirl.

-In terms of Taylor Swift records, Todd considers 1989 to be the one he most enjoys listening to, but the one that means the most to him personally/connects to the most, is Midnights, though this was after repeated listens. He also likes Folklore.

-Todd calls himself numb to the Taylor Swift stans.

-Todd says that part of the reason he's not on Twitter is to avoid the stans.

-Todd feels the idea of "if it's popular, it has to be good" may be waning.

-Todd would love to read a book about the history of artists cheating the music charts.

-Todd has not yet dared to do a One Hit Wonderland episode on somebody who had their hit after he started reviewing in 2009, with the most recent hit being "I Love College" by Asher Roth.

-Todd has considered doing a list of one year wonders of every year (Fetty Wap in 2015, Iggy Azalea in 2014 are given as examples.)

-Todd says it feels strange how much music has declined as a pastime, how today there can't be a TV channel dedicated to music. He talks about being on a date with a girl and talks about how she said she only listens to podcasts and doesn't really care for music.

-Todd says that doing his videos has warped his brain to the point where he doesn't know what kind of music he likes anymore. He says much of listening to music has become strung out and related to his work. And he doesn't know what he'd talk about if he weren't doing his videos.

-Todd mentions that going to karaoke, he's done a gig where he has folks thinking he's going to do Frank Sinatra's "My Way, only to perform "My Way" by Limp Bizkit.

-Todd doesn't think Katy Perry has it in her to make a comeback.

-Todd thinks Sabrina Carpenter is going to keep being dominant. He mentions he's usually terrible with predictions, but this is one he feels he got right.

This isn't comprehensive, and a good amount of the video is just these guys talking about the state of the music industry for about 90 minutes.

I did not enjoy the video. Got super sick of Morage Wallen and Taylor Swift all over the video. Hopefully his top ten best songs video will be better. :(
His top hit songs of 2025 will be more like the top R&B songs of 2025 due to how rancid this year has been with the stranglehold Alex Warren, KPoop Demon Hunters, and Taylor Swift-Kelce had on the charts.

The first two entries were horrible. Todd saying that one of the reasons why a song is bad is "he is a Trump supporter" is beyond stupid. I completely skipped the Drake entry because I didn't want to hear another second of "Not Like Us" ever again. I don't even know what song he chose but I just don't care. The rest of the list is fine though. Guess no more Wallen on the best lists, RIP.

This was the worst "Top Ten Worst" list he has ever done, and to my shame I have watched them all. They have been getting worse and worse over the years but this one is just boring. This may reflect the fact that, as he says in the video, there felt like there was genuinely less new music this year than ever, but his picks felt totally arbitrary. An above poster was right in saying that Todd way over-emphasises the importance of lyrics in pop songs. Lyrics are not important in pop music at all, it's the beat, the melody and the production that make a pop song. He barely ever talks about those things because he actually has no understanding of music, he is a failed English teacher and it shows.

This video was actually entertaining. Buckley probably benefits by allowing himself to pick songs that were not hits while Todd insists on only choosing from the Top 40, but that aside he picked some total no-brainers that Todd sidestepped. Yes, Kanye West is low-hanging fruit, but at least he is interesting. Morgan Wallen and Taylor Swift's worst crimes are how frigging boring their music is.

Guess no more Wallen on the best lists, RIP.
He went on the full stream-trolling offensive so Todd might be unable to go through even half of that shit he calls an album. I don't blame him. I do listen to Man Made a Bar, the song he had on his best list last year, from time to time because it is a pretty solid song (might even be added to the karaoke repertoire at some point).

He said it so himself at the start of the video. He was not excited to write this list or the best songs list. An uninspired list for an uninspired year for mainstream music.

Good thing I listen to more music than that and have personally never seen a 'bad year' in music. There's always new gems being dropped around.

Because there isn't really much to say for most of them, really. If he cared more, he would've torn that Christian song to shreds for being nu-Marshmello monogenre sludge with vaguely trap hi-hats or laser-focused on how there's not a single bit of emotion that can be felt from Alex Warren's delivery and made at least one skit about it.

I do think your argument doesn't hold for Taylor because her recent music has been capitalizing a lot on her fans' parasocial want to read between the lines of her lyrics and their own projections onto her (especially those who are victims of the sunk-cost fallacy and want to believe that the small girl they followed from Fearless onwards is still relatable to them in spite of her attitude shift into a bratty billionaire who finally got everything she wanted).

It's only December, what the hell
He did say that one of the things that can get him going is if something is really good or really bad. He must have been real fired up to include practically every Morgan Wallen and Taylor Swift songs on their respective albums in this video.
though I am glad he skipped the obvious Kanye for No. 1.
Sometimes the obvious answer is the right answer. Seriously, the two songs that could be considered the worst are putrid. And makes putting “Carnival” at number 1 in 2024 Make even less sense.
And he's never beating the Lindsay's top simp allegations ever.
What happened this time?
