I'm glad to see that report of the week has a thread; he's one of my favorite YouTubers.
I'm catching up on all the recent "bad" reviews and damn, I've never seen him have so many bad experiences so frequently before. A real sign of the times. He always looks and sounds so genuinely disappointed

. Looks like he enjoyed that new sonic thing though.
It was genuinely surprising seeing him be disappointed by so many fast food places for multiple videos in a row. Before, you would have the occasional bad item like the Popeyes butterfly shrimp, but most stuff was mid to average. Now it's like 6/10 items are bad, and he occasionally finds good items.
Hes also done videos going over numbers, he doesnt outright say it but you know (and I know, because I do this and fall for it) that bad reviews probably get more clicks. People kinda want to see people dog on something; people see 'oh this is DISGUSTING' and go 'why, whats wrong with it'
This is 100 percent true; ReviewBrah's more provocative titles, like "Is This the Worst Burger?" got me to click. I kind of stopped watching all the positive reviews as much because they didn't really interest me, but the negative reviews get my attention, and the numbers show that many people are like me in that regard: controversy gets clicks.
I will admit that I am jealous of his following/fandom.
Aren't we all jealous of ReviewBrah's greatness? He's probably the most deserving famous YouTuber.
He's pretty much the only reviewer where I actually specifically went out to get an item because of a rave review. It was the Chick-fil-A pretzel cheddar club. It was, in fact, the best fast food chicken sandwich I ever had.
I'm the same way; I trust ReviewBrah's opinions, and yes, I tried the pretzel cheddar club after his review, and it was pretty good. Chick-fil-A is one of the last great fast food places.
One exception I experienced was an all Nation of Islam Micky D's run by a total slavedriver. Fries were always hot and the drive through ran fast. The employees were all competent and friendly (yes even to YT).
Did you order the Yakub burger?
CEO bite review

Ironically it's actually good albeit overpriced. Wonder if the controversy actually improved sales.
That is an interesting point. I know Burger King and Wendy's dunked on the CEO for his tiny bite, but it might have the opposite effect if people think, "Is the burger really that bad?" and try it for themselves. In my humble opinion, no matter how much meme marketing Burger King uses, their burgers have declined so much in quality even compared to 6 years ago. I will probably never eat there again unless something dramatically changes.
