It's kinda ironic considering that he desires to make his own cartoon. He's already trying to find background artists. And he still hopes to pitch it to networks.

Enter's cartoon is strangely anti-adult. But if he does get it aired, animating the toon doesn't happen within a day, it takes weeks or months. And chances are he's going to get polarizing reviews due to poor writing, characterization, cliches, terrible humor and so on. But Enter won't give a shit and sic his gullible fans out to get them.

Like most projects like these on DA, I doubt it will go anywhere. It probably won't get beyond a few test animations, if that.

I tend to find him a mixed bag, there are points when I think"ok yeah that's kinda messed up for a kids cartoon, he has a point" and other points where I think"sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up", needless to say I stopped watching a little while ago out of boredom tho.

While I do agree with the idea that just because it's a kid's cartoon doesn't mean it has to suck or not make any sense, he seems to have very little self-awareness when it comes to his own work. Boring, unoriginal, and just plain confusing. I do love watching someone rip into something horrible, but his attempts at humor are so bland and forced. Honestly, the terribleness of whatever he's reviewing would speak for itself if he didn't go into super long overdramatic tangents all the time.

Yeah, I watched his Mr. Pickles review and pretty much agreed with him.

Then I watched one of a Spongebob special and thought "...chill the fuck out, man."

Tbh, I do have to agree with him on Allen Gregory being one of the worst things ever presented as entertainment. Ever.

I first discovered him when I stumbled upon his review of the Bubsy cartoon.

The guy harps on the modern Spongebob episodes like they're the worst things ever made. I used to follow him for a little bit, but his voice got very grating after a few videos. He does have a point though; the older Spongebob episodes are better.

See the thing that bugs me the most is he clearly has a deep love for animation, he has respect for it as a craft and his rage comes from thinking that children shouldn't get lower quality stuff purely because it's 'for kids', whether that's something he stole from the nostalgia critic or not it's a position I agree with and admire......but his delivery of that message is so whiny, nitpick and full of over the top rage fits about tiny things that it's impossible to really get behind him, if he wants to succeed he needs to chill the fuck out, look at stuff other than spongebob and realise that 5 minute rants about wanting cartoon writers to die horribly isn't gonna get him anywhere as a reviewer.

To be absolutely fair, the spongebob cartoon in general is stupid, and as a series goes on, most of the time it just gets dumber and lamer in an attempt to keep the audience's attention. Considering how wretched it started out as, it's not hard to believe that later episodes would be garbage.

I also like other critics such as The Nostalgia Critic and most recently Island of Rangoon (Island of Rangoon actually needs more love to be honest with ya). I used to like Nostalgia Chick before she went all radfem/white feminist/SJW, but back in the day she was also someone I used to watch.

I remember wasn't there a huge controversy when she made a video about a rape joke? Talk about calling the kettle black

I used to like his vids, but it soon became clear he's way too sensitive. He thinks that kids are easily traumatized by "scary" imagery (this, I recall, is an example of what he thinks is too disturbing for kids:
wall_banger_sb_7541.jpg

He seriously thinks stuff like this will severely traumatize children who see it)

That, and he gets upset if a character is mean. I used to think that he only felt that way if it was a case of inconsistent writer, or it was clear you were meant to sympathize with the character's heinous actions, but then, I think, it became apparent that he just doesn't want mean characters period. Because it offends him.

And now that I think about it, his "warning: this material may be disturbing" are legitimately trigger warnings, the shit SJW's do. I also remember one vid where he was ranting over people disliking the season finale of MLP:FIM season 3, if I recall correctly, he was unable to accept that there were legitimate criticisms of the episode (basically, an overabundance of songs that took up far too much of a 22 minute episode, and it was rushed as shit. That, and the princess thing was pulled out of nowhere any completely pointless, it was an obvious excuse to sell more toys but the show's basically a commercial for the toyline so it's no surprise they'd do that).

TL'DR, he's an unbearable faggot.

I was more irritated by SB's reaction towards Puffy Fluffy, and trust me when I say that there were quite a few things more disturbing that came before it. Scary stuff has always been in animation - take the donkey transformation scene from Disney's Pinocchio for example. It's scathed quite a few people from my generation, the only real difference here is that there is no moral or consequence. I feel this was what Enter was trying to say, but got too sidetracked by Puffy Fluffy levelling up enough to evolve into his second form.

Y'know, as someone that loves and studies animation, I can sympathize with how MrEnter loves his toons. But he fails to realize about other animators, like Bill Plympton and so on (that is, if he's grossed out by him).

Plus I find him annoying as hell, so that compensates with something.

His knowledge of animation does seem pretty limited, yes. Like, I highly doubt we're ever going to see him talk about Soviet-era Russian animation or silent film-era cartoons.

He mostly just focuses on the writing. I notice he never comments on comedic timing, anticipation, staging, what have you.

I watched Ren and Stimpy at age six. I loved it. It's what made me want to draw cartoons for a living.

How does he feel about classic Ren and Stimpy? I haven't watched any of his Ren and Stimpy Adult Party Cartoon reviews.

I think he said he didn't really care for it, but respected what it did.

He said that in his review of...Sanjay and Craig I think it was called?

Mr. Enter complains about cartoons too much. I know its his shtick but I swear almost every other review of his is either Spongebob, Family Guy or that new Teen Titans show. I get the impression that he actively watches new episodes of these shows despite already knowing that he's most likely going to hate them. It seems like he WANTS to get mad at the time.

This might as well be the truth - and if it is, he is a fraud, then.

I'm sorry, but if you hate something, the best thing to do is to stop watching it and not pay attention to it anytime soon. It was hard for me to learn that, myself, too - what with how critical I am of cartoons and how I want them to succeed, myself.

And all of this is also taking into consideration that I've watched most of this guy's stuff - and seen some of his fans in action. Sooner or later, we're gonna have to deal with them, as much as I really don't fucking want to.

It's funny really, I personally have a high tolerance for pain (at least in regards to media), and I do torture myself with lots of bad media on a regular basis. But even I have to call him out for continuously doing this.

At this point, it's like he does this just to appease his fanbase.
