My first guess is OATEN, followed by SHIRK if nothing. ETAOIN SHRDLU is the first twelve letters sorted by frequency, and three vowels go a long way. Not the "optimals" or anything, but I thought of them myself, and they seem as good as anything. Haven't lost yet.
