Abode was a terrible word choice to start with in hard mode today.

Do people really use strategy? I just pick a random starting word with at least two vowels and then go from there. Still haven’t lost one so I don’t think it’s a bad idea.

It's not really a planned out strategy, I just pick words like that because I feel like they have common letters in common sequences. And an "Y" in the last space is pretty good for figuring out whether the word is an adjective or not.

Getting a consonant correct at the beginning or end seems to help a lot.

I had nearly this exact shit happen to me on yesterday's. Twentysomething win streak with 100 percent win rate and I got punished for knowing the word SHALE. Yankee fucks.

I just read an article that stated NYT has removed certain words that were valid under the powerlanguage version, for exactly the pozzed reasons you're imagining.
