$3-4k?!?!??? Are you shitting me? Look, I'm all for people doing whatever the hell they want with their money, so long as it doesn't hurt or cause harm to anyone. But I just can't fathom spending THAT much on what's glorified vaporware. I just can't.

Sad thing is, the single player component sounded pretty neat, but that's been indefinitely delayed I guess. Glad I didn't donate any money to this scam, that's for sure. And yeah, the fanbase is terrifying. It's like they huff this Chris Roberts dude's farts and think it's ambrosia. It's also infuriating how cult-ish they get when even the slightest bit of a negative article drops about it... the butthurt towards people calling out the sketchiness of Star Citizen after the single player component was delayed was astounding.

Haha there are people who have put 40-50 THOUSAND dollars into this game. These people are professionals with wives, children and good jobs. The SA thread on Star Citizen is a really good thread for LOL's. The backers of SC are insane. At least SA is only 10 bux to get into.

Star Citizen reminds me of the most hyped up yet ultimately most disappointing sex of my life.

I was a young man, about 20, I had just been assigned to Edwards AFB as an active duty Marine working with a reserve unit. It was heave. Hot Air Force girls everywhere, base DFAC had good food, very few other Marines to run up and yell idiot shit like "Yut-yut" and "Debba-dawg" whenever they saw me with my wallet in my pocket instead of in my socks. There was a really, really cute AF girl I had met my first day while one of our reservists was showing me around base. Proving once again that Lowtax gets admins who don't even read their own goddam forums or discuss their purpose with him, because the SC forum was built on doxxing people associated with the game since day 1 and with @Lowtax 's involvement. The best part is FAU comes into the thread bans Derek and then when people complain he makes a rule that you have to complain in QCS (where it will be ignored) and starts probating anyone that complains about the terrible modding in the the Star Citizen megathread. He REALLY hates Derek Smart and as an extension that thread. It was a pretty self contained non-rule breaking thread until he showed up. He really doesnt need to be there at all.

In other words he breaks your toys and then when you complain he throws you out of your own house.

Its weird, I remember when Lowtax did all those articles on him and made him look like a putz. Turns out Lowtax was the putz and Derek is a chill dude who actually has shit going on in his life.
